Hello! I love to draw and paint, and I really want to improve. So my plan is to paint a lot. I want to be a professional someday, so I definitely have my work cut out for me.
Any criticism/advice/suggestions/help/observations/comments will always be greatly appreciated!
Some digital still lifes to start out:
//Forgive me if I make any mistakes, I'm new to forums!
There's so much to practice, I don't really know where to begin.
WIP for a painting class. A master study of Michael Sweerts's "Head of a Woman", oil on canvas. My first time doing a traditional portrait and definitely super educational. I've been working on it every day, but it still needs a lot of work and time. I'm especially struggling to duplicate the complexity of emotion in the original.
//Photo's not so great, sorry.
Quickies from photos, trying to improve anatomy.
I need to draw hands until I don't suck at drawing hands. Some from life, some from photos.
Trying to draw whenever I'm not doing homework.
A little landscape from imagination. I hardly ever paint landscapes, so I want to change that.
Kind of embarrassing, but I guess we all have to start somewhere! I think I'll copy landscapes for a while before I try making them up.
(Also trying to learn Photoshop, I'm used to using Paint Tool SAI.)

I'm hoping some people here really kick my ass. I want to improve!
Some quick studies from photos:
Finally have time to work on my own things now that I'm out of school for the semester. Hoping to improve a lot this winter break.
