Great rendering and anatomy Theonlay! Really convincing dents in the armor and veins in the muscles, those little details give your characters a lot more life.
If I can make a bit of crit, your characters are look rather stiff, you should do more gesture drawing and try to draw poses other than standing. Some sitting or reclining figures would be refreshing, and you should try drawing some action poses as well, or at least tilt the shoulders and hips of your characters a bit to give them some more rhythm. lovecastle is a great online resource for gesture drawing.
I think you should do a bunch of hand and feet studies, It seems to me you leave hands and feet very sketchy when you draw them, or you just crop off the legs to avoid the problem of drawing feet.
Some variance in your characters would be fun, maybe try drawing some women or kids or people of different races for a change.
last thing, I don't claim to know much about armor but I think if you made the outlines of your armor plates overlap more noticeably then your armor would look thicker and more convincing. here's a quick paintover to show my point
Looks like you're doing a great amount of work, keep it up! best of luck.
Interesting-looking characters and great rendering. I really love the style, but I agree with what has been said about the poses. These are great, but they would be even better if you could manage to make the poses more life-like. Right now what I see here is a bunch of dummies plopped down on a page, kind of like string puppets whose legs bend in all sorts of weird directions and have no pelvis. The hands look similarly awkwardly posed at times. To me, it lends a quite unrealistic and whimsical feeling - which is pretty fun, actually. You know, the contrast between the pose and the otherwise serious setting gives me this odd feeling about characters who live in a world that seems much more serious to them than it seems to outside viewers. You know, seems kind of comedic, and somewhat dark at the same time. Certainly could be fitting on some very original and specific story.
But of course, if you're going for more convincing, and serious all the way, the poses definitely need to be improved. Otherwise what you intended to be serious would just come off as awkward and off-putting. Kind of like hearing a funny joke and then realise they're not joking.
All things considered, I really like your stuff. I like odd and original things, so I don't really care if anything changes. But I'm not who you need please, am I right? If it doesn't come off the way you intended, work on it!
