More Wing ..we need MOOOOORE
The last one with the turning head is awesome! Looks like so much fun!
You have probably seen it but I have been working through this of late http://www.karmatoons.com/drawing/drawing.htm and finding it fun.
Man I need to do some animation soon!! Silly list of things to study that I am currently on is massive!
i agree completely with whirly it looks like youre having a blast!! and that is what counts man, have fun with it, its your skill the heights that you can reach with it are only limited to your efforts and tenacity so keep at it man the path to greatness has begun already and to me your well in track, enjoy the ride
Im starting to think im going to have to get very detailed on layering in order to get what i want. For example a layer for leg animation... a layer for head... a layer for arm... maybe even a layer for each one depending upon how complex the action is.
Im over my dislike for flash. WIP
Giving him a bit more character. Final wont use symbols, just blocking to help me.
His tail is getting sucked up his bum =/
His bum is getting smaller
Is arm is getting smaller
hey Wingal, great progress so far. Don't forget about torso-hip rotation in your walk cycles. They counter-animate. I notice that everything tends to move in an up-down fashion but don't forget that your body also rotates and moves side to side. Also, nice job with the legs and thinking through how the spine and ribcage move. It might also help to simplify the line of the back of the spine.

general advice- when you are doing such things as balls dropping\falling\ items that are affected by physics- look at a video refrence- or use a timer to see how much time each thing takes- try to make it look as realistic as you can at first- only then you should exagurte things- only after you have undertanding of how it works.
for example- the tennis ball- it falls in a certain angle on the step- it should bounce off in the same angle that it came (if you make a vertical line from the place it hit the step- youll be able to see the correct angle according to it- frmo each side) it doesnt have to be 100% correct but just so youll have some basic rules to follow :]
