Lunch time studies
Sorry for the bad quality photo =_=
I was using the scanner from the place I worked, now I have no work anymore buuh
Looking good so far - you have a really nice diversity in your subjects. Especially love your sketches too.. great line quality.
Thank you, blue skies!! =*
No, really, I can't make the water looks like water =( It looks like ..ink or something! Frustraaaaating!!
Your stuff rocks! Looking forward to more.
Thanks a lot, guys! =*
Yes! I followed your advice, Lumens, thank you!
Oh man, still life painting is hard D: I'll try other object with water later, and the (agh!) landscapes.
I'm lazy today =I
nice works, I like your girlz in #1,
And this kind of smooth style => http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...9&d=1342723042
The last WIP seems promising
great work ! Love the suppleness of your line.
Thank you so much, Orkimede and Joulle ♥
Oh lawd, That last wip looks amazing
Love the pencil work! I'm partial to pencils tho.
The trick with water is that it can only give back the colors of its environment, just reconfigured in different puzzle piece shapes (plus highlights). Try to simplify into tabletop, surrounding walls, ceiling, plus some of you, maybe a little blue sky from the window out of frame... Everything makes sense. No chroma jumps. I think if you made the air above the blue water in your earlier study recede by greying it somewhat, and losing the high chroma blue in the stream it might look more natural.
Thanks so much PScissors, Jarkuzy and Kevin
Thank you so much, Lisa Ann! ♥ It was very helpful. This is the reference I was using, I'll find another one to study and some more still life.
Any crit to make this drawing look better is very welcome!
Your linework is stunning, super inspirational stuff... :3
Thank you Symbeli =*
Loving the sketchbooks all I can say is work more on the anatomy and proportions of the body you have the basics down just fix those and also post some more trad sketches
Everything is permitted
Thank you, Mangix!
Thanks, udonhead! Yup! I'll work on anatomy/proportion
Unfortunatly it will be hard to post trad sketches, I don't have scanner or a camera with good quality.
(My reptiles sketches looks just awful, I took the photo with psVita! Agh!)
Long time no post =(
