Howdy people! I'm here to learn, develop, and become a better artist, so I appreciate all the help and critique you guys can give to me!
Here's a few sketches from a while ago while I was still in high school
(new to forum dunno if I'm posting these the right way or not)
A little character development for one of my projects, and some character busts
Everyone is going to say study your anatomy. That's always a given since there's always more to learn about it. c: But I'd also suggest studying folds. You've got some really creative ideas going on with your work, but I think a better understanding of folds would really help your work.
Keep sketching! You've got a great start here.
If you have the time, please stop by my sketchbook, Chock Full o'Nuts.
I would appreciate any advice or critiques.
I really do feel the need to show where I'm at right now, I just finished high school, so now I'm wanting to invest my time fully into improving over the summer and into college.
I've got some cloth studies and figure work here, thanks DKHutcheson for reminding me I had these.
Just a story sketch, and a bunch of head studies (would love some critique on my head studies) They're all still relatively olding, but I've been on vacation for a while, so I'm back and ready to work on where I need to work on. Thanks y'all!
Love the coloring on that last dog to the left!
As for the faces: their noses seem off, as if their overly thick or on the same plane as the forehead. Maybe this can help: http://nattosoup.blogspot.com/2012/0...struction.html
Havn't done as much sketching as I wanted to.
