I finally got a good working studio type thing going on for me, I just need to stock up on some reference material. One of the types of books I've been looking for is one that shows how 1400s to 1500s medieval armor is connected together. I've found a few books that show you the armor on the person but not explain step by step how its put on or what it looks like on the inside. Preferably one with several types of armor shown? That would be awesome.
I've looked through Osprey books really liked the Men-At-Arms books and bought some (They are really cool guys check em out.), but I'm really looking for one big book full of photo reference.
If anyone has seen, have, or knows about books like these it would be most appreciated.

There are also quite a few old but well illustrated books on archive.org:
Armour in England from the earliest times to the reighn of James the First (1897)
An illustrated history of arms and armour (1877)
A record of European armour and arms through seven centuries (1920)
A treatise on ancient armour and weapons, illustrated by plates taken from the original armour in the tower of London, and other arsenals, museums, and cabinets (1786)
British and foreign arms & armour (1909)
This is from Historic Royal Palaces website. Also look for English Heritage, or as Jeff has mentioned Royal Armouries. For an accurate portrayal of a Knights harness.
