This is a character design, created for a game reminiscent of Team Fortress 2. The character is that of a Cleric.
The character himself is less traditional in a sense, with a combination of the orient and a classic priest. Yet I'm hoping for some feedback on it's overall design (composition, anatomy, line work etc.) and whether the character is able to stand on it's own in terms of memorability and uniqueness.
(I'm concerned that it might not be detailed enough or that adding more detail and extras to the character might spoil the simplicity of it.)
Okay so its not a bad idea its is just hampered by poor execution. The biggest problem is the anatomy The hand are two different sizes between right and left that no amount of perspective foreshortening could explain. The head is drawn without thought of the underlying structure. Try drawing that face without the beard and you will see what I mean.
Ah I see, thank you so very much. I really know what you mean... And yes the beard doesn't seem quite right when I draw the head without a beard.
