I want to start this sketchbook because I'll love to receive critics and sugestions! And also it will be a nice way to be more prolific in my future sketches and studies
Well, I just want to share with you my story:
I never draw in my childhood, but I always wanted to! But my fear to fail was bigger than my will. So, 10 months ago I decided to really learn to draw and this way I could really express myself in some way, and also to understand the world around me.
In the beginning I was studying on the internet, and I also bought some books and started to study for at least 4 hours a day (Since I work 10 hours a day)
Ever since, I began to study even more, and I also started some online course at CGMA, which really helped my development! Beside that, one of my greatest luck these days where when I asked the amazing artist Ross Grams to help me out with my drawings, to be my mentor, and he said yes!
He really helps me a lot with my questions and stuff and I am very grateful to him
So, let's stop the talking and post my stuff! These are all my recent studies! I'll try to post everyday!
Animals and Skeletons
Cars and Military Vehicles
Hey this stuff is really good! You have a very impressive handle on volume and perspective. It's clear that you're taking this stuff seriously. I can't even find anything to critique yet.
Do you do creature designs (or plan to in the future)? I think you'll be really good at it.
At any rate, if you've only been drawing for 10 months and you're already at this point, I'll definitely be watching this sketchbook.
Thank you Dahlia!
I like creature design too, but first I want to spend some time in the fundamentals and observational studies!
I need to start my anatomy studies, to get a nice understanding of the figure and then apply in something different
Some design studies!
Thank you @Xcarbon!
I recommend to you the Scott Robertson's book "How to Draw". It's an awesome book for those who want to learn perspective for real!
Here more design studies! This time some spacecrafts studies!
More insect studies!
