Heya here's a little peak at my scribble process. I start out with a light copic wash and throw down some line work with my Hi Tec C Pen. I then gradually work towards a darker wash. Most of these drawings are thumbnail size. This keeps me focused on the overall design.
Generally, Ill start by very simple shapes with my markers then develop order through my linework. I'll work fast and throw down designs. If I get stuck I'll jump to references and get more ideas through reptiles, insects, and organic photography. I then work my designs until I'm satisfied.
Here's several concepts that originally focused on one character. Let me know if any stand out. Cheers.
Awesome sketches! Your portrait is great man. I'll focus on you.
Hey dude, cool stuff, post more!
Your monster designs are amazing. Very fucked up - in a good way I also like seeing how you gradually lay down colour on an image. I think I may have actually learned something here. All of these look very professional and wouldn't be out of place in a video game or movie. My personal fave is the cow skulled guy with the little loin cloth.
