Wow. Its good to see how you've improved over time. I love the geometric type stuff you posted on April 21st (i think). Reminds me of Sparth's second book which I love. Good job. Nice studies too. The hard work always pays off. : )
Thanks, mikefongart, I did that with a program called alchemy, it's pretty awesome.
anyways, mah work:
Another color study, I feel like I've done enough color studies for a while and I'm now gonna focus on my anatomy and line art, I have been drawing traditional the last few week and I feel like I'm getting a bit better with my lines...
New portfolio test (still no domain name for the time being): https://dl.dropbox.com/u/62664516/Portfolio/index.html
Yay or nay?
Chromatic aboration is the new motion blur.. don't get me wrong, lots of people use it and i've used it myself recently in various works.
but tone it down a little. its the same as any thing else be it shapen, lens flare, blur filters, ect. best used in moderation.
Don't let it be a crutch!
You've made some real improvements since i last saw your work. Awesome job on the statue!
Yeah I know I use Chromatic aboration and blur waaaay too much (and I use it to hide my mistakes and most of the time it actually looks quite bad), so I've tried to stop using it lately. I only added a bit to the last WIP of the fire girl for "presentation purposes", but I removed it already.

Where's the photo in #95 taken? The bottom one, I mean, with the (monks?) in red.
The fire girl in #100, holy hell, that is stunning. If I might say, though, in the further rendered pictures the green doesn't quite work with it, IMO. The lighting suggests a night scene, but the green makes it jarring because you tend to find those kinds of green in a day scene.
These speedies are great, it'd be nice to see something more fully rendered from you.
