Leave them alone and they might well before long get rid of their government. Go invade or bomb them now, and they are all going to unite behind their government against a common enemy, and the whole process will have been set back by decades.
My sketchbook thread:
The India Pakistan one is dangerous- their missiles are not at technoogical parity, ie they have different ranges. that means no MAD stalemate... very dangerous.

Everyone should give this a listen. No conspiracy anything, just straight sensible talk from someone who's been there and knows his shit
China. And even if America cannot afford another war, it's not like anybody else can afford a war with America either.
I don't think so. I am too stupid to say anything truly substantial, but the reason why people bash America is because they have shot thousands of innocent people in the faceAnd just in general: I've always seen anti-American bellicosity as another way of declaring, "I don't know shit about politics, and I'm too stupid to learn anything about it anyway."
I think someone on the last page made a comment about only Americans think America is in danger or something of the like.
I used to think that way, but talking to someone high up in the NSA in a casual environment, no reason to lie, just speaking your thoughts, changes your mind on things. You have to wonder what goes on behind the scenes that no one knows about or ever will.
Also the above video a majority I don't believe for a second on his assessment on things like tech, not going into any details, I'm paranoid about friends losing security clearance. (as much of a cop out it sounds, it's true, say something vague on facebook you shouldn't know they can lose their job even if what they've told you is vague itself.)

I don't know much about politics. How would China sustain a military conflict with the US and come out "on top"?China.

I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions.
If they ended up there sometime around 1948, they probably thought they were fleeing from something called "Palestine."
If they were still there after 1967, they probably thought of themselves as "Palestinian refugees" living in the "Occupied Territories."
Except, nowadays, I suppose Gaza would be an "unoccupied territory" ruled by Hamas with its international trade tightly controlled by Israel and to a lesser extent Egypt.
Israel's not squeaky clean and blameless regarding the Palestinian "Exodus." But, the continued refugee status is just morbid ongoing political theater maintained by the surrounding Arab nations who, curiously, don't want to absorb these people either.
If they just quit using their UN welfare payments to buy rockets and make a tiny group of gangsters billionaires, they might be able to build themselves a state of some sort.

Anyhow, the difference lies in how China operates. It's not about the military supplies, the amount of human resources they have, or even that they are willing to go underhanded if they have to to win. For one thing, China's still at heart a Communist regime (I take their economic capitalism as an external shell but they're still jailing dissidents and locking up people for mentioning the schoolhouses catastrophe). Another thing, and this is important: they're nationalistic. In a way, they're very similar to the Japanese during WWII - the people truly believe that they cannot lose but it's all due to mass adoration of the nation and it's fanatical. If worst came to worst, they'll sacrifice everything to deal us a punishing blow. They throw everything to the winds to win, and in the end, we will be caught in it, too. That's why if China goes against the USA, I'm gonna be scared. We can't afford to underestimate them. We just can't.
We're at a point in history where I don't see the big super powers colliding. Because simply. We can wipe each other off the map probably. That...... and in recent times it's the first era of true globalization imo. (insert conspiracy one world government jumbo here) The internet allowing instant communication, travel fairly quick and easy. Cultures colliding, hell you can go into interesting factoids just about McDonalds becoming popular in somewhere like China and realize how crazy the changes are nowadays.
Every country developing is invested in one another. Hence one of the big differences between say Israel and Iran compared to China and Japan. Japan and China have through history been long rivals, but are both big cogs in the global economy and it bears little fruit to fight. While Israel weren't they founded barely 60 years ago or something, and there's still debate and fighting over land. These relationships are developing but not stabilized as much, as far as I know.
let get started on your country... . Obiviously, I mean there is nothing wrong with being a proud Isreali, and don't take it as me being anti semetic. I like Jewish and Arab culture because I am a multi culuturalist. But i seen some stuff that is shocking to see from Jewish people. "WHITE POWER FUCK NIGGERS" Should that really come out the mouth of a person who had relatives in the holocaust?
Please don't called your country a DEMOCRACY, When it seem there is no difference between Nazi Germany and Isreal.
If you want to say it a democracy, then fix this bullshit ^ No better than the nazi, it a slap in the face to people who are victims of the holocaust. FIX IT.
Sorry, If i came off mean but this shit piss me off, don't called it something that it is not. I mean I try to use this site to help me with my career, but sorry buddy. Can't let you say stuff like that. it just wrong.
All have to say again is fix that shit before you called it a god damn fucking democracy.
Oh before you start that noise, HAMAS is no fucking better, but who started the uglyness first? I mean blowning up people on buses is shitty but blowing up people with air planes and cutting resource from them is JUST AS SHITTY, AS THE LATER. I am done ranting, if i get banned from just saying my opinion based on the facts, well I have my teachers at school and peers to help me with what i need to do.

You're welcome. I'll go paint a landscape now.. or maybe BridgmanI appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions.
I have no idea. I don't know if they would, or not. But I am convinced they pose a threat to the US. As far as i know, many developed nations (including the US) are in debt to China. Check this out.How would China sustain a military conflict with the US and come out "on top"?
quite scared of Anonymous at the moment. I am pleased.
The Elite have labeled people in other countries as 'terrorists' and proceeded to hunt them based on an event that, in my opinion, was set up by the government themselves. They did 9/11 as a reason (a cover for the American and global public to believe) to invade an oil-rich part of the globe populated by people who believe in the 'incorrect' religion. Of course the Taliban are real, but a lot of their recruits are surviving members of families that were killed by US forces. Why would they not hate the US?
I know as much about the rankings as much as i care about them. Since i don't have much of an opinion on this, let me take this opportunity to express my views on statistics in general. I have spent far too much time concerning myself with the thanks statistics on CA. Many of us track our progress by how many pages we have in our sketchbook threads, among other distractions. It might seem ironic that i quote Heidegger to support this point, given that he was a Nazi supporter. I don't know if he supported that movement before or during its run, but i don't care for his political views. He developed a philosophy on the structure of the human mind in relation to its influences, which i agree with.By how much does America lead in the slaughter of innocent people? Which country is second?

There's different kinds of conspiracy theory, there's those in power who are abusing the system to twist laws and keep financial gain, then there's thinking the elite's control anything and everything
Twisting the system. That is less conspiracy theory and more so just looking at Lobbying and laws. Hell for instance, in the recent election even Romney is an example of that, Loopholes of getting as low as 14% taxes on 43 million dollars income. Then he was also part of a lobbying group to keep things that way. There's many companies that pay less in Lobbying than they do in taxes even. So major news organizations like Fox these groups turn public opinion because it effects their CEO's as well (try to pretend Murdoch's taxes are legit), while lobbyists amp up candidates campaign funding (even more so with things like Super PAC's allowing infinite anonymous donations), so they have the news to sway public opinion, and the funding to get re-elected, so money can buy influence. But actually talk to some candidates and you can see not all are corrupt, not everyone can be bought or swayed, but I'm sure some can the way this system is.
Elites controlling everything I don't believe, there's corruption galore but all you have to do is talk to some of these people in positions of power to question that stuff. People say oh the NSA does this and that, well once again talk and get to know a manager at NSA and see if you think the government controls and sees all. I can't imagine some people I know leading a double life/personality shift. I'd view it more as the government is incompetent and fucks up more than anything in certain things like fighting terrorism. Which imagine how hard that is to do covertly yet effectively. Though there's obviously fishy stuff happening all over from ridiculous police brutality and violations of rights, to fishy laws like the NDAA that pass with a ridiculous approval rate despite having ridiculously low public opinion, and issues people want addressed.
Waaaay off topic I realize now lol.
China can't afford to go to war with the US. Not the way I see it.
I believe Obama had (has?) genuine good intentions, but he can't get around the agenda of the elite. Just like our CIA(?) man said before, JFK tried to do justice and was assasinated for doing so.But actually talk to some candidates and you can see not all are corrupt, not everyone can be bought or swayed, but I'm sure some can the way this system is.
Of course not everyone is corrupt, there are many benevolent individuals, even within malevolent organizations. The intelligence guy from earlier was the son of an oil man, and is clearly liberal. These induction videos were leaked from the Illuminati, so there are positive people even there.Elites controlling everything I don't believe, there's corruption galore but all you have to do is talk to some of these people in positions of power to question that stuff.
Some jokes to break up the seriousness
Shell, BP = Bad Policy
By executive order, the National Security Agency is exempt from all laws which do not specifically name the NSA in the text of law.People say oh the NSA does this and that
Which of course means they can do whatever they want and are not answerable to anyone. They exempted themselves from the law.
Since you seem to have the opportunity, why not talk to other agents, as well as your friends? I understand you won't be permitted to go up past a certain clearance level, but do keep in mind that there are many more people in the NSA. And, your mates would only be permitted to disclose certain, limited information.well once again talk and get to know a manager at NSA and see if you think the government controls and sees all. I can't imagine some people I know leading a double life/personality shift.
Yes. The SAS in particular are very good at what they do, but many of the 'terrorists' have been fighting each other for centuries (between nations), and speaking in terms of generations, are far more experienced than soldiers of the west.I'd view it more as the government is incompetent and fucks up more than anything in certain things like fighting terrorism. Which imagine how hard that is to do covertly yet effectively.
Absolutely. I think that on the whole, the military are a lot more moral than the police. I dearly hope that when the shit hits the fan, the sensible people in the military will point their guns in the right direction.Though there's obviously fishy stuff happening all over from ridiculous police brutality and violations of rights, to fishy laws like the NDAA that pass with a ridiculous approval rate despite having ridiculously low public opinion, and issues people want addressed.
As for FEMA, that intelligence dude did say there are not enough guns to kill everyone, and Halliburton can't build the camps fast enough to get everyone. But i would still advise anyone to get the fuck out of America while the borders are still open.
Yeah, i apologize to everyone (especially Velocity K), as i have been key in derailing this thread. I'm sorry.Waaaay off topic I realize now lol.
Videos rarely convince me. It's like someone telling me Aliens exist because they saw a nice video about Aliens from History Channel, or a leaked video on the internet proving their existence.
Still not convinced on the NSA or CIA, I like South Parks joking interpretation that the government wants people to think it's all powerful even when it really isn't. Conspiracy theory, something like the illuminati, people have major confirmation bias.
You can make connections anywhere for conspiracy theory which is the major problem, people see what they want to.
9/11, War on Terror, Went to Iraq for WOD's that didn't exist, really went for Oil, Obama before he hit office said Osama was probably in Pakistan, we were searching over a country away, after Saddam was gone and the oil fields were free for development.
Issue with that is people can overlook simple issues. Like the above, if we went to Iraq for oil, then why did not a single American Oil company go to the Public Auctions for Iraqs Oil development. One simple answer throws off every little fishy connection.
Military being more moral than police, uhhhh...... nuh uh. Hearing stories from every single person I've met in the military, you do what your told if it's bullshit, illogical, and completely fucked up you deal with it. There isn't even morals for the individual unless you want to face serious punishment like any military.
In such cases you'd expect a lot of the population giving lip service to the ideology, a minority smuggling cultural stuff in from the West, and another minority getting increasingly fervent about the endangered ideology.
Hence the police raids to bust clandestine dancing parties, dress code in the streets but dressing up inside, weird stuff like banning Barbie doll sales and such.
Granted, I am not really sure what is going on in North Korea. It might be going through the same decay as the USSR and Iran now, but they are even more tight-zippered than Iran, so finding out what's really going on in there is difficult.
some of the saddest stories youll read from recent history are the diaries of professional women, judges, doctors, journalists, who took part in the revolution in Iran with enthusiasm and passion, only to see it all become twisted, gradually at first and then more and more radically by the idealogues into the repressive shithole it is today.
imagine the first time you realised jar jar binks and haydn christiansan had ruined starwars forever, times a million. heartbreaking

I wasn't referring to or comparing the level of oppression or brainwashing, just simply the possible fanaticism that may never let there be true peace.
Exactly. I'll use this quote for the second (third?) time on CA.Conspiracy theory, something like the illuminati, people have major confirmation bias. You can make connections anywhere for conspiracy theory which is the major problem, people see what they want to.
"For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don't, no proof is possible." - Stuart Chase
Good point.Issue with that is people can overlook simple issues. Like the above, if we went to Iraq for oil, then why did not a single American Oil company go to the Public Auctions for Iraqs Oil development. One simple answer throws off every little fishy connection.
Of course soldiers do what they're ordered to regardless of personal political opinion/compassion/moral, but that doesn't really change a soldier's personal point of view. Obviously that depends on the individual, and military is infamous for animal behaviour, but there are still soldiers with minds and hearts. It comes down to what kind of person the CO is.Military being more moral than police, uhhhh...... nuh uh. Hearing stories from every single person I've met in the military, you do what your told if it's bullshit, illogical, and completely fucked up you deal with it. I could deal with these two. My pet peeve was whoever the brat was that played Anakin as a boy.imagine the first time you realised jar jar binks and haydn christiansan had ruined starwars forever, times a million. heartbreaking
But one must always remember: George Lucas scripts have been the ruin of even the greatest of actors. Look at his dialogue and ask yourself whether any actor at all would be able to pull it off.
Anyway, so it always goes with those epic movies. I could have watched the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy over and over, had it not been for those bloody hobbits - halfway in, and I want to strangle Frodo myself.
My sketchbook thread:
I could deal with all of it barely. Until I watched plinketts Star Wars reviews that put to rest all the weird feelings I had
"There's something off here, something doesn't make sense".
"Ohhhhh that's why because nothing makes any damn sense..... at all....."
