I'm working on this:
Before I go further I would like to know what to change.
I'm not trying to avoid his hands, believe me! I wanted a casual pose, I used this ref
Help on blending would be very good, I'm afraid to do it because I might get carried away or ruin it
I don't get as much of a sense of volume for the head as I do for the rest of the body. It's still a rough, so I don't have much more than that.
Yes, I don't get a sense of the planes of the head's box. A light source would help, but right now it looks very flat. While I see the horns and eyes, the anatomy of the lower part of the head isn't there - or at least it's hard to read. Is there a nose? If so, how does it fit into the overall head. Same for the jaw and mouth.
It might have been a bad choice for me though since I already don't know where to make lighter.
It's more of a mask than a head, so sorry on my part for making a misleading title.
The mask should probably go out a little for the nose but nothing for the mouth.
I saturated it a little more so the colors weren't so dull and I adding some little things to the mask
EDIT: I just realized this post was sort of in note form, sorry about that.
