Hi, in this thread i´m going to post studies and paintings. I hope to improve, so any critics are much appreciated. Thanks.

First is a pose study, the rest are usual color/value studies.

You nailed the studies. Maybe you could post them in a bigger size next time? Keep going
hey hac, great start on that, but i'm sure you already got some more to show, hehe
keep this going!
@KiBa Will do! Still experimenting with the format. The upload here rly isnt the best.
Guess, i wont post stuff older than 2 days for now, haha
1. env study from ref; 2. env from head; 3. standing poses from head; 4. Baba Jaga, lol, ugly; 5. thumbs and creature inspired by lovecraft; 6. girl roughs; 7. BLING BLING
The color studies caught my attention try picking one of the color study and improve on it more trust me its a fun experience

@udonhead Will do!
Only 3 env studies. It was a pain in the ass painting with ma cintiq at dark values. Currently thinking of buying a Intuos.
Still getting comfortable with brushes.
Top image is from ref(Blade and Soul; awesome game!). Bottom, applying the study. Who can see a face here?
Very cool stuff. Really love the energy in the enviroments.

Just a lame env today.
Interesting assortment so far, I really like the high opacity chalk pieces in post # 11.
Looking forward to seeing where you'll go next

woah man, great work with lighting, textures and value
Like your figure style too, looking forward to more

Rhubix thanks thanks. Will focus mainly on rendering and environments i guess.
@ TFsean What, now I´m motivated!
I procrastinate too much again. Still did a Bargue study. Tried using eraser to make hard edges. Didnt refine everything, cause I´m tired and wanna go to bed now.

So many different studies, that's great stuff.
#12 Cough my eye, love that light on a cig.
#20 Maybe apply some rough texture to really get the feel of the stone. Otherwise it's great. Keep em coming.
seems like your style is focus more on value
@CarbonHead thanka thanks : )
@udonhead Yep, i´m currently doing mostly studies of dark value pictures.
o means from observation
i means from imagination(more or less)
Wanted to do these arm studies a looooong time ago, but my procrastination used to be way too high.
It´s great that you´re applying the things you have learned from the studies (#23). That´s the right mindset.
You better keep doing more of these, otherwise...
KiBa Yes sir!
I better begin looking into skin texture and material behaviour, otherwise I will always get this artificial look. Going to paint details of the face separately from now on, in case of render practices.

Yeaah. Have my sketchbook like 2 weeks already : D
Went to google looking for archers. Someone knows an awesome site with lots of pictures of medieval stuff? Just in case, haha.

HERE and HERE keep at it man!

@Basti Wooow, thanks mate! Have to look through the pages now.
Looking at brush strokes of one of algenpfleger´s cloud studies. Second one is a color blob, that´s supposed to be clouds .
these are getting better and better dude !
@Sebastian Thanks man. Gotta keep doing them. They are still missing something.
1. study(noticed how i use pen pressure waaaay too much)
Looks great so far!
Maybe you need to spend more time on one of your studies, just every now and then.
Watch out for the dark values in the forest study (2). The background is too dark.
Hay, thanks dude. I already spent a loooot of time on the clouds, haha. I´m way too slow. And you are totally right with the forest. Actually I wanted the background to be more crowded with trees, but I totally messed up.
Again landscapes. Have problems imagining them(elements and composition), so gotta keep doing studies to get a visual library. Only looking at images of landscapes won´t do anything, in my opinion.
