The pose is nice, really strong and well framed. To be critical (as you did ask ), the trees look a little unfinished or in need of more polish. I like the armour design but the hood is troubling. I think it needs more material, as I think it would be a strain for her to take it over her head / wear it down?
Thanks, I agree the hood is abit problematic, I ended up covering her face because I really did not like her face at all and the more I worked on it the worse it looked, I sure know what I have to study and practice more... heads!
regarding the trees I left them unpolished on purpose so they wont be so busy and let the main character pop out more, Just like Frazetta did in his paintings but the difference between me and Frazetta is that when he did a single brush stroke it makes my finished paintings look like sewer. I should have maybe polished them a bit more so they wont look unfinished, the balance is there somewhere just have to find it.
Nice effort .. I would fix her breasts, the one further off looks bigger and the shapes of both look wobbly, I'd draw the breasts out beneath and then put the cloth on top to see it fit properly. Also, the blue glow from her hand and the pink subsurface scattering of her skin in between her fingers looks a bit odd to me, I'd expect a bluish spillover on the skin.

If you were to work into this piece a bit more, it may be beneficial to find a photo of a characterful tree off of Google that you can blur and paint from as reference. Just a thought - it would stop you adding unwanted detail but still retain convincing tree-form.
