Beautiful landscapes . Your colours are fantastic!
Please drop by my sketchbook and help me improve!
Your environments have a nice vividness to them, your human studies are very good as well!
i really love how the light throws the shadow on the water, its such a nice effect. you can imagine tiny viking boats down in the light part also throwing long shadows back toward the camera! or something! love it

thank you very much, I'm glad you're all liking my environments!
some photo studies from this morning:
do you know any website or topics in this forum that have some exercises in to to do for concept art purposes? I'm going to paint or draw at least 4 hours per day and I'm going to need resources! Meanwhile I'm probably going to look through the sketchbooks of people like algenpfleger..

Man, u cool u know?) i indeed like your landscapes)
Geez bro. I'm a noob compared to your landscapes! Awesome choice of colors and beautiful finishes. Cheers.
Thanks for commenting in my sketchbook
It really seems like we have the same influences, but you're way ahead of me.
I like your color choices, they look very good to me.
Keep it going, you just have to keep practicing.
Do you have any suggestions how to push the details in my work? When I'm painting I end up that I just don't know how to continue anymore.
Hey there. Really nice work in your sketchbook!
I really like the studies. It shows you have your eye in right.
And your piece in post 42 has great colours and shapes.. but I'm not sure about the composition. The entire right side of the image is being neglected now, as the light and character take up the left of the image. Just my two cents.
Keep up the great work. I think you're very talented!
Your work is amazing and a great inspiration to me. Sadly I can't give you any advice because you're way better than me, but just wanted to let you're awesome!
@Noomwolf: Thanks man, I've been painting landscapes for an year, maybe an year and an half.. been drawing for a few months and not often at all. That's why my paintings may look better than the drawings! And yep, that's Musashi!
@Mr. P Show: Hey, thanks a lot!
@Pixelwalker: no problem man! Helping is the only way to get helped, in my opinion. About the details: as you said to me, just keep practicing. That, and do some studies from photographs or real life of rocks, skies and all that kind of landscape stuff. There is so much we don't notice until we actually paint it, it's amazing. With practice and time you'll learn how to make a detailed piece with few brush strokes, the trick is not about 'making' details, but implying them. I don't know if you get what I mean.. anyway, that's just my theory.
@Mila: Thank you very much! I definitely agree with you about the composition of the piece in post #42, I actually think that I could make two different pieces by just separating the left and the right part of it.
@Purim: Thank you!! It's always so motivational hearing this kind of things!
in between freelance working, I found the time for a 2h enviro tonight:
Wowowowow. Beautiful landscapes, your way of dealing with light and colour is awesome! Like others said, while your enviros are very developed, the figures within them could use some more work. I am sure that with a little more anatomical studying, they will be up to par with your landscapes.
Very impressive, I look forward to seeing more! Keep working hard, and good luck
Great landscape speedies, would love to see some figure painting from you too.
@EduardoGaray: Thanks! Have you tried different brushes? There are a lot of good ones with very sharp edges that might help you get that 'sharpened' look.
@Lux_Aeterna: Thank you so much, your comment is so encouraging! I wish my potential will develop better, even though so far life hasn't been helping a lot.. it's so easy to lose motivation and get distracted from other things, such as money. Thanks as well for the advice, I will definitely do more studies of human anatomy.
@Mindinart: Thank you! I'd love to see those from me too, but lately I've been a bit lazy, or busy with other things, so when it happens that I have time to paint, I just spend it chilling with an enviro.. which is something I'm definitely not proud of, and I'll try to behave myself from now on.
couple of enviros:
really like some of your work, great use of warm and cool tones.
