Why isn't his hair affected by the bright energy thing on his back?
Overall there doesn't seem to be any real main light source or focus point in this image, there seems to be random highlights all over his body that come from no where and affect no other part of him (his cheekbone, shoulder, stomach, sideburns, other knee, tip of his nose and side of his nostril), leaving some parts pretty flat looking. Like, the light that shines that brightly to his cheekbone and sideburn definitely would light his brow, lips, nose ridge and jaw more than that.
Also that fire is pretty dark for a light source, especially if you turn the pic to grayscale. And as I look closer, it too is applied randomly, like his upper lip catches the orange light, but his lower lip doesn't?
I don't know what material that gun consist of, but right now it looks to me as if it was made out of clay. Only the pipe looks metallic, so possibly add more reflections and scratches to the rest of the gun.
Here is the revised version TinyBird. I am learning to design the background before I start painting as I end up with random light sources that don't make sense. I am working on a new piece where I am entirely focusing it on the background lighting on the character. Thanks for the feedback!
