Illustration of the Week #13: Christmas
This is a one week topic.
This weeks topic is Christmas.
Celebrating our first Christmas in IOW with a open challenge!
You task is to illustrate an aspect of Christmas, be it a traditional cozy scene or an angst-ridden Santa Claus filled with anxiety!
Everything goes, you can illustrate Chrismas stories, scenes from your childhood, funny, silly, whatver you want as long as it´s Christmasy.
The deadline is Sunday 25th of December, 23:59 GMT
I started by sketching out some quick thoughts of xmas. Thinking about my own xmas's. Decided on design #2.
Sure is quiet in here! I shouldn't be working on this, cause I have a million other things I should be doing (finishing my Christmas shopping for one-eeeep) but it looked like a fun one. So here's my messy sketch! Ho ho ho...
all of works are very beautiful.
Yay moar peoples!
Loving the entries, all very different.
ReneOchoNueve - That's a really scary santa lol. Hope I'm not on his list
Here's my update:
Yay finished work for the holidays, should get this finished
Santa's coming for you...
Started off as a present, turned into possibly a christmas card I'll give out to a few friends/family. It's been like over 2-3 years since I've done a christmas card/art.
It's sort of a classic/timeless santa look, with some "oh no gotta hold on to the hat cuz I'm going at extreme speed" snap shot. Next year, I'm doing a pirate santa
Still so much to do.
(Late) finals thread up!
I blame Christmas.
