Wicked stuff here! Really dig the fact that you're practicing your ID drawings the traditional. Something I should do more often.
A few crits would be: sometimes your design have a slight wonkiness to them, which I think give them character but takes away from them feeling stable. Watch the outlines, they can be a bit thick sometimes. However, taken as a whole drawing, it reads like it should but I think scaling down your lines overall would help the drawings look more pro.
Overall, nice work and cool designs!
Really cool sketchbook! I particurarly like your vehicle designs and some of those mech designs were really cool too. Would love to see you take some of them further. Also have to give you props for doing perspective studies. I should do much more of them, but I find it like reeeaaally boring. So yeah great stuff and keep up the good work

Nice mech thumbnails, really like the look of that sketchbook paper too, which sketchbook is it?
Really solid work ethic you have here, keep pushing yourself, you remind me I need to push harder.
Holy shit, sick update dude. Those gun marker sketches are crazy. The humvee is awesome, but very distorted. I've found it really useful recently to make sure I set things up in a proper cone of vision to avoid distortion. It seems to make it easier to get a feel for drawing in perspective, maybe because things behave more consistently.
herionz hahah thanks man! Yea getting use to drawing without VPs and a horizon line just takes time. Practicing Scott Roberston's warm up stuff on his first Dvd got me to get somewhat okay at it. I usually never use vps and horizon lines unless i get to bigger scale stuff like buildings and what not. Thanks for stopping by!!!
SpectreX Thanks alot for the kind words!!!! And yes please do keep coming by!! Ill leave some comments in your sketchbook in return!!
GrayPersona Thank you so much for that tip!!! It worked like a charm!! I found so many blueprints now hahah i typed Tank Blueprint for one and got so much good stuff Thanks!!
SaurabhinatorYes!!! PLease do keep working on yours cause im learning alot looking at your perspective studies
Mr.Pryminista Thanks alot for stopping by! YOur sketchbook is awesome!!!! Thanks for the advice!! IM going to tyr and start trying out some other line weight stuff
Papu Thanks!! Hopefully soon i can start to get a feel for designing my own vechicles and taking them into photoshop and doing a really cool version of them
Jaik Hey thanks!! Its a Canson Earthbound Sketchbook. I got mine from a barns and nobles lol i about to order some of these Strathmore Tan and gray paper sketchbook. Only sucky part is they only have 50 pages but if i fill 50 pages i should feel proud so worth buying i suppose
Kvetch Yea i was trying to distort the humvee on purpose to get a feel that you are really close to it. So i made the vertical line converge more to create a worms eye 3 point perspective on it. But i really do need to learn this "cone of vision" stuff. I keep hearing about it but never take the time to study it hahahahahah Thanks alot for the comment and stopping by! Ill be by your sketchbook now
MrFrenikWhats up man!!!! Thanks for the constant support!!! Yea I love this sketchbook stuff!!! Im going to hop on sketchbook pro soon.
ecki Thanks man!!!! Glad you came by again!!!!
Small one anyways hahaha
Have some concept art i been doing but cant show it sadly Its proving useful even though im not the best which is great. Getting alot of Postive support from the other guys in the group making the game
Here are some warm ups and Speedboats!!! Also, some sketches inside photoshop
dude I love the cleanliness and clarity in your shapes and those boat designs arent half bad either, would be interesting to see some paintings and more organic stuff from you.
Stunning work man ! Extremely precise and clean. The first impression i get after seeing some of your work is that it's made by a professional artist. The perspective couldn't be more correct. Those lines following the form/surface of the object are very good and remind me of Feng Zhu in a way. I would really like to know what is the white thingie that you've used in many of your sketches to indicate light ^^. And one more thing besides everything, that i like in your sketchbook is the range objects that you've studied. Lamps, vehicles, buildings oh and the church was amazing ! I really wish i could do such awesome stuff from imagination.
I think i will have to agree with GreyPersona that you should do some organic stuff. Like people for example. And environments !
So many inspirational and clever designs here. Your perspective work is tits man. Also, meant to come by earlier and say thanks for swinging by my SB.
keep pushing hard man, its going good!
I really like the way you are simplifying vehicles from complex forms into basic shapes! There is a lot to learn from this sketchbook.
For Science- Sketchbook!
GrayPersona Thanks alot for stopping by again!!! I kinda did some organic type stuff in this IDW gasman's gear topic post hahahah Ill start to do more once i get more better at perspetcive/hard surface stuff first
ivan4otoThank you so much for that comment!! Its cool to hear stuff like that even though i still got a ways to go till im pro hahaha
I STRaY INp man, glad to see you around again! and thanks!!
snatti Thanks man!!! Its great to hear that from you!! You work is a huge inspiration to me!!
MrFrenik hahahahah thats great, i totally agree with you there. I wish there was more people who could teach like he does. His dvds have been the best of help to date! LOl hahahah if he comes out with more stuff ill be like "Take my first born" before its released hahahaha
RaphaelLuebke Hey man!!!! Glad to see you stopped by!! Like Atey, its a honor to have you stop by. I get alot of inspiration from the work you two do! Thanks!
ForScienceThanks!!! Hopefully ill keep finding more stuff to figure out, or be able to figure it out anyways hahaha
Trying out "IDW # 228 Gasman's Gear" over at the IDW thread. My stuff isnt amazing or anything but lotz of fun. Some is quick ref sketches then most from my head hahahah
Sorry for the sloppy ellispses, did those really quick and free hand. Need to fix the angles of them and stuff hahaha
Great stuff, man; you're making me have to step up my game for sure. I'll post some more stuff tonight. I also am totally down with having a dedicated study thread/group whatever for us to keep focused on certain things, and I certainly would like help for any perspective threads that I start in here. Let's get something going!
Really nice stuff, inspiring sb, I'll think about Scott Robertson dvds after this, do you recommend a specific one to start with?
Nice updates! Keep up the hard work
art is never finished, only abandoned~Leonardo da Vinci

Man, good start on the "Gasman Gear" so far (man, can't wait till I'm done with TAD so I can get into those myself!). Looks like you're doing the necessary research to bring your concept to life. I think you can push the research more. Some more masks, vests, gloves, etc... Another round of thumbs would be useful and push the design more, push what you've absorbed from your studies.
Rock on man!!!
Great updates again dude. You've definitely a designer at heart... I really have to get into doing these iterative designs. The gas masks and speed boats are bitchin'.
cool stuff man...dig that line art....all that freehand stuff is nice!
cool mask studies too.
new website up and running:

wow, it seems you are true perspective master, the page with boat designs is really good, I like it.
I definitely agree.Yessss your sketchbook has an old-school feel that I really like.
Your line quality has def improved. I would recommend you do some more still lives. I know they aren't always fun but they can really help you understand how to paint the basic forms. Definitely keep up the hard work.
Hey thank you so much for all the comments!!! Going to reply real soon!! Got to take care of some things first though. Just wanted to do a quick update with some things i can show outside of concept art for the game
I really wanna keep this sketchbook active The First one is some orginal Deep sea sub designs, except the first one. Used a ref for that one
Also, here is a funny tutorial i made, hopefully it can be of some use to someone lol sorry for my spelling, was rushing it a bit As well as some thumbnails for The recent IDW on here
