I recently left uni to spend more time just focusing on what's important and would gladly welcome any critique or advice!
I have a very good teacher in the form of Razorb who is a massive help and inspiration to me so a big thanks to him!
I know a little bit of Photoshop but my anatomy and concept / rendering need allot of love! I've just started to learn 3D and now that i have more time to invest in learning i hope to gogogo!

3D Hand painted and realistic
Spiral Knights scene
2 hour lighting study of Emmanuel Villanis sculpt, didn't get to finish it but will level up for next time and do it faster!
Nice work so far! I especially like all the creatures.
Hello! Nice work so far! I'm really liking the paintings of the creatures in your first post. They both have a nice, sharpness to them. The silhouettes are great and hold lots of variety. No crits from me right now, but I look forward to your future posts!
Thank you for your comments and welcome!
Did some more rigid and sci fi things since i don't normally do this and would love to learn more about it! so pushing on these for a bit,
The first thumbs i took great inspiration from Freedom. I used heavily one of his designs in my upper right thumb to help me deconstruct these new shapes the rest are mine
Got a bit lost but i did enjoy it and will focus on making more practical designs in the future and learn how these things work better!
Time to do some environment studies! attempt one to try and get a workflow on how to start these things and how they work, learn t allot so I'm happy and will push for more!

Heres my blockout from the concepts, looking forward to finishing it
I used Jessica Dinh wire example on her tree to help me understand how to do alphas, my first time trying organic modeling and some of the textures that will be in this diorama so her hand painted wells thread on polycount has been really useful! should check it out!
Working away on texturing my little scene, been working on 2D also for breaks.
This is a study from following a video of Zhanglu
Gettin the textures in to see how it all looks and will adjust later.
Doing some 2D environments to keep testing what I've learn t from studies and as a break from my 3D scene.

Been busy so not allot of updates!
Here is a scene i was working on to do a quick workflow for everything and lighting as I'm still new to environments and the process, this is not meant to be a finished scene with all the props as i know it is bare i just wanted to understand the method and become more comfortable with lighting in UDK.
for the Green door in the back i credit Jeroen Maton with his guide in http://www.game-artist.net/forums/speed-texturing-competition-archives/3855-stc-2-november-11-november-18-doors-clean-vs-dirt.html really helped me get going with these assets so thank you!
Hey been awhile super busy
Some sketches as a break from 3D trying to be more active with drawing! half an hour to an hour so nothing finished haha. More color and more perspective on my target list!
