hey there fellow singaporean! thx for checking out my work ya.....must agree hard to find singaporeans in the forum....or should i say outstanding ones. I noticed 1 of the life drawings in front is a drawing of NYP. U were a student there? Anyway, you are doing so much better than me, your works rock and i can see its getting better and better. Make us proud!
finally here ahhah
I think that This is cool:
It reminds me of Daria, the Tv show. I like it!
And as usual...excellent work. I like your very own stuff the best.
HI, Yina what do you use for your digital stuff???
awsome update! I've had Artgerm on watch on my DA account for a long time. A great artist as well!
^keep me going by visiting my sketchbook^
just a simple portrait.. more updates soon : )
still not complete..
completed, or as complete as it'll ever get..
Wow, all of these great digital pieces that I've been seeing around here lately! Thanks for putting up the process. I think that dogfood said in another thread that he limits his use of layers because he likes the feel of the piece being more complete and I can see his point. How do you feel about that as opposed to using layers? It's probably something that I just need to get used to. Looking forward to seeing more.
stuff from when i stopped posting.. doodles, graphics and others.
because recently ive been training for a graphic design competition, so ive been working more on illustrator..
graphic shoe design
little sketchbook cover
screenshots from a motion graphics animated clip i worked on.

random piece that i coloured.
watercolour painting from photo
some concept art for a animated short, the same character as the one a few posts before.
WIp -- the facial proportions are driving me nuts..
im having trouble updating the thread title, anyone knows why?
To update the thread title, edit your very first post and change the title of it.
Really smooth coloring, it really stands out. The "meaningless understanding" graphic is also very pleasing to my eye.
done, i hope.
*the chinese calligraphy is an image i sourced from online*
Thanks for dropping by my sketchbook!
Wow, you've got a really impressive variety of styles here. You've got solid control of the digitals (I'm fairly sure I've seen the step-by-step in your first post, some time waaay back when). Incredible pencil work, too; I'd love to see more of that.
I like your last piece, layout and concept-wise, and the face and hands are rendered nicely. That said, I feel like the body lacks "pop". It feels a little flat, compared to the face and hands (and taking into account the drapery in your earlier pages, you could probably spend more time on her clothes ). The hair, also, could use more values, I think, to give it more volume.
Just wondering, but are you still keeping up with the sketch walks you showed your pencils from in page 2? I've been having trouble finding people to go on sketch walkabouts with here.
wow, a very interesting and cool sketchbook. Every update is different, the colours, and the style. And i also agree with lotekK, with the variety of styles. The top pictures are excellent, i really like the top one. The one you called "simple portrait" looks good. How long did it take you?
Looking good !
very nice and divers book. love that little watercolour and the motion graphics stills. id like to askm was that shoe graphic printed or did you paint it on? (or is it only photoshopped?)
thanks for showing your work.
edit - step by step painting came out nice, i like that style you got going there.

dooooood, your stuff is so qewt! when the animated stuff is done, could you put up links or something? im intrigued. last figure, her head is nice, but the body doesnt feel as 3d, and the hands too. i dunno, at least like, give her fingernails, i think that might help. also, i think if you did a little more work on where her dress meets her shoulders, it might give it a more 3d feel. but take the good stuff from what i said, toss the bad, and go draw. take care dude.
painting wip : ) .. replies to comments later, thank you everyone!
Nice values! Breasts should be higher, though; right now they're sitting a little low on her ribcage. I think her clavicle might be extending a little too far back, too; right now it appears to be crossing her neck muscle (levitor scapula? I forget).
