wow page 3 ftw. Things are moving alone nicely.
finished up my warthog final rendered piece yesterday, but wasn't able to post it since i had to travel back to san francisco. But since i have arrived now i guess its time to post it
Trying not completly happy with the armor and may do some twiks on it if i decide to do the picture with him and the orc riding him, but pretty much reallt happy how it turned out. Trying to work more with my dark as well, i have a tendency to push the light to much and dont work enough with the darker parts
Spudonkey - thanx dude, yeah sculpturing is really fun, i am actually thinking about getting some super sculpey to play around with. Really helps you to get an 3 dimensional understanding of what you are creating
LeaderOfZombies - thx, its all practice, i feel that drawing something from imagination is something you have to train on beside your regular real life studies. You have to break free from reference and understand why stuff works as it does, or something like that Really think sketching 3 dimensionally is crazy important though, makes it so much easier to render out
So finally finished this on up. Really happy with the result, Could probably us a little more finishing, but needed to move one
I like the colors really feel they mirror the environment, but i´ve also notice that my stuff usually is way to saturated. I know i need to work more in the shadow parts, maybe push them even darker? but not really sure how to try to make my pictures not as saturated guess i just need to not move so much in color from shadow to light, but then the picture gets boring, this is hard >-<. Should probably studie some real life drawing i guess
So here is the little guy, learned some interesting stuff with this guy, may just finish him a little more and ad him on deviantart as well.
It is wery mr jack ish in style which makes sense since i trying to learn how he does thing so good and so fast. And it seems like having a very solid line art first then adding a saturated dark tone to the whole figure, then simply build up each shape individually and at the very end ad highlights. Defently going to do a more complex knight pretty soon though, hopefully. School is starting to kick in again, and there is a couple of personal stuff laying on my desk i want to finish as well.
So just some fairly quick head sketches around 30 min each. Going to render them soon as and put them together with the other two devil faces, maybe render them a little more as well. And hopefully get a portfolio piece out of it.
a Sketch for my new project some stare craft inspired stuff.
Going to scan some page from my sketch book as well tomorrow so look forward to that I have a huge amount of traditional stuff from school and sketchbooks that need to see the light of day in this tread
And here are some sketches from my sketch book, they are a little light but should hopefully read some what good, have a bunch more, just to lazy right now to tweak and scan them T-T. But will post them throughout the week
Heisann. La merke til notatene dine på Pulp Fiction studiene dine, innså da at du var norsk Liker virkelig stilen din. Du hadde en serie med portrett på side 1(mulig det var selvportrett) jeg likte godt, veldig bra fargebevissthet.
Sleep.less - thx dude, yeah i agree i havnt even started rendering his face her, have gotten it a little fleshed out now, going all out on this one though so takes some time for me to render everything. Going to post a new progress pretty soon.
svendraws - Awesome, har ikke sett noen andre norske her enda, veit det er folk der ute da. Og takk for tilbakemeldingen, lærte faktisk sykt mye av de selvpotrettene.
Dirgeance - Thx man, still feel like i need to learn a little more realistic light though, and should do more enviroment studies, but all in good time
And here are some more sketchbook stuff as well yeah
