Oh, thank you. Hope it is so
I have not updated almost for 40 days. Damn, i have an excuse, but it makes no sense to write it here. I should admit the main reason is that i am lazy shit of piece, or vice versa. Nevermind.
Here are gestures and heads mostly from photos. And few paintings from imagination, except the woman portrait.
Gestures, heads and few paintings in photoshop. Everything is from photos.
I have got Loomis book, so here is some heads. And few paintings in photoshop from photos.
Lots of progress in the two pages this sketchbook has, keep pushing it, keep improving!
The head studies show a visible positive improvement on the last digital figures, particularly
the in the black dress, sitting on the cloth. Really nice construction.
What i'd suggest is trying to polish one of these studies, pushing the limit, adding details and understanding
as much as possible.
Thank you for inspirational words, Blacky :] I will keep your advice in mind.
Above done from refs excluding few after trees.
Gestures from photos
I focused mainly on gestures lately
Few gestures and painting that i did without lines. Was trying to start in color.
Guess what? Yep, gestures. And some anatomy studies too. It is so cool how similar all creatures are. I love to dig in it.
Gestures and foots. I don't know why, but i found it is so calming to draw foots in the evening after work :]
Animals from photorefs (45min each). And two drawings from imagination(two silly, you will easy recognize them).
A bit more of animal anatomy studies
Here are few works from imagination:
Head drawings (1-5m) and head paintings(45m) from photos
Just a bit of gestures that i have done lately.
Head in average 3 min and bodies 45 min each. All from photos.
Skulls and eyes.
Eyes and gestures
Okay, there are noses and lips this time. And study on proportions by cutting silhouettes from paper.
Damn right! I should draw way more from imagination. And yeah, 3d sometimes has a feeling like you trying to carve details in one inch sculpture with an axe. Anyway i love it. Thanks for stopping by!
Head from photos (45-90 min each)
