I'm going to be drawing a comicbook in photoshop, but I'm a little overwhelmed about how to set it up.
So I looked it up and came across these dimensions:
6 5/8 x 10 1/4 page
6 7/8 x 10 1/2 bleed
6 1/8 x 9 3/4 safety
I'd do the actual drawing at 150% then scale it down, use 300dpi, and use CMKY colours. Does this make sense? I know it might seem like a redundant question, but I just want to make sure I'm doing this right so I don't have to start over.
Your specs are correct. I posted a "live" (safe) area of 6x9 inches for POW!, but in reality, you can use just about any "safe area" you wish within reason. I try not to get closer than a 1/4" to any trim edge with anything important.
There's a thread stickied in the P.O.W.! area called "Read this first" in the Community Activities that might contain some helpful discussion...

Ok, I'll check that out, thanks.
