Hi there just a couple of quick sketches. The crapy star wars ish one I did at work during lunch, and the others were done here and there at lunch time. I've been trying to get some more personal work and studies done but I've got tons on with my day job work and freelance. Hopefully I"ll free up soon.
Psychobuddy - Thanks I'll keep going for sure.
Michael Grieco - Thanks alot I apreciate it.
Great work David, love the zombies!!
mike butkus - Thanks man, I've still got a long way to go. Zombies are always fun to draw. Cheers
Here are a few sketches from reference from my sketch book and some perspective/composition studies from various artists. I'm trying to work on environments because at the moment I suck at them and I really want to be able to do characters in believeable environments.
Hi everyone here's my entry for the Crimson Daggers Sci Fi Hunter and Pet Challenge. I wish I'd had more time to do this it was really fun, I only had one night and a few hours spare here and there this week. There's still so much I want to polish and fix. I still might finish this for a portfolio piece.
OH MY GOD MAN!!!!!
My god. Man, thats the cool Invincible art EVERY. You have to send this to ryan and robert!!
J: Don't call my escorts hookers.

My Sketch Book
Great stuff man, perspective is quite solid, and i like how you focused the detail on the monster and blurred out the tunnel and the creature with the glowing light, but if that's a laser/dagger coming out his wrist armor, light it more with some glow, though are you making the glowing creature the focal point?
Also start painting more sharper and harder strokes to give your work girth and to define the subjects in the paintings
Amazing stuff! Not only your paintings but everything.
I love your #34 portraits. Which pencil did you use on them?

-KrispyKream-Thanks man I get what you mean, thats definetly something I want to do, bring more opaque brush strokes into my work. Cheers.
-Layu- Thank you I apreciate it. I just used a regular ballpoint pen for those, with the exception of one I think was done in Hb pencil.
Hi everyone here are my first few studies for the next Crimson Daggers Bloodsports Challenge. It's definitely going to be challenging but should be good fun. I'm doing a poster for Princess Mononoke, which I hadn't seen till just the other day. I was blown away by it, what an awesome movie. If you haven't seen it yet check it out.
Hey everyone here's my final piece for the Crimson Daggers Bloodsports Challenge. I really had fun on this I was trying to use a much more saturated and bright colour pallet than I usually do, to try and reflect the feel of the movie. I'll post a step by step for this one a bit later.
the swamp elder is my favourite..
