So worked all weekend im wrecked. . .
Hope you all had a good Christmas!!!!
so no time, but i did a few imaginatory drawings.
MY sister was kind enough to give me all her painting equipment
so this is the first time in my life i am painting with acrylic paints
and some pencil drawings
Yay! It's a really good one painting for the first time... Interesting scene, I love the water and the lil rocks, the big ones are somewhat flat... It's not far from being a pretty one. Good job!
Your imaginary enviro sketches have interesting theme and/or composition, I hope I can see many enviros from you in the future.
What a great year!
Happy new year every one!!!
So some life studies of the girlfriend on the train,
and some studies today, so busy with work i could only jam a few out.
Happy New Year!
You still should watch the proportions (short torso, short limbs, it happens in this bunch). Some of your figures have a nice flow and you definitely aren't afraid of harder poses. Keep it up (I know you will).
Cow freestlyle WIP only two days left to finish this.
I think pose B might be more aggressive??
Sup Adrian! Nice fencing sketches, you did a good job caturing their movement there! That last cow is a big improvement from your previous cow's, more solid colours and neater linework! Keep it up mate!
Bought sculpting clay today and crafting blades i think thats what they are. top left in image.
Two A5 acrylic landscapes again. Also bought tons more brushes and paints!
Its more fun than pc painting guys!!! SERIOUSLY
Once the paint dries for sure i'll scan the paintings
Also want to try out pastels / charcoal in the future.
I can tell you are improving, your studies gets better and better! and the fencing studies was a great idea. Can't wait to see your clay sculpts, they will help you alot on understanding form. I can see some of your drawings still look a little flat, like that horse (fig.i) but no worries, I can tell you are improving! Just keep going!
Here's a little link for you regarding armature and sculpting, lots of handy stuff; http://www.squidoo.com/armatures
Good luck man and hope to see lots more from you!
Your work is really improving! some stuff, like that horse (fig.i) look kinda flat, but you seem to learn fast
Can't wait to see your sculpts, they will help you alot when it comes to understanding form! check out this stuff: http://www.squidoo.com/armatures
Good luck man
So before i crack open the clay and use the blades i did a bit of research as you do, and ended up cutting my kneadable eraser into random faces . .
seems like almost any thing can be used as a tool to edge out/flesh out your sculpture! this is even better than the paints!!!!!pld:
Two A5 acrylic paintings
used ref, doesnt look like the ref tho
Some success and a lot of failure BUT i noticed where i went wrong,
for example my core structure wasn't 100% its masking tape and a few paper clips, which is sh**. I didn't stick to my drawing plan/design.
I guess i got to see the process and i figure its easier to do this in sections, not bulk like i did it.
About 40 min, first time sculpting anything.
Nice! You're improving, no doubt about that, and you have a nice thing, and it's that you have imagination and creativity. You're gonna improve with practice and some time, but creativity is something that i'ts inside, so, keep attacking those practices mate!
EOW shipwreck wip
its suppose to be a freight ship toppled on its side half buried, with containers
sproon across the tundra, once the paint dries for sure, i'll scan and post.
might use the scanned image in photo shop and turn it in to a panoramic
landscape, seems to compressed right now on the A5 Budweiser 6 pack
the dried EOW thumbnail, on cut out cardboard from a 6 pack Budweiser carrier
hillarious, now im gonna move it up a scale to A4 canvas paper, bought some for cheap cheap. . . .
Good job! You are progressing a lot!
Some of your sketches looks really good, paintings looks tasty.
Keep it up man!
Nice sculpts makes me wanna sculpt! keep going mate
I'm exhausted, a few quick sketches before work last nite.
really fast about 15min
