This week's all about John Singer Sargent for practice, this is from today:
Sorry about the double post, had a problem with uploading the image
very nice~~ I want to see more
Great work! I am in love with your portraits (especially your third one).
The only thing that I really see that stands out as being weird is the 4th picture's legs. The right leg looks a little bit...I dunno- more curved/thinner than the rest of the picture and it makes the picture look a bit off.
Thank you! Here is todays Sargent study (this week's Sargent week). And also here are some original sketches as requested, and what they evolved into. They're personal projects, just playing around with photoshop. I'd definitely like to hear some thoughts on them!
The past few days Sargent studies:
Very nice studies you got here. Really enjoying those Sargent ones Great colors on your sketches. One tip that could help you out is to start out with a hard brush to lay in a good base and use the softer brushes for blending. Right now, I'm seeing that you use a soft brush for the entire piece which gives them a transparent look. Great work, and can't wait for more. Keep posting.
very nice studies.....that spiral vine with red eyes in loops interests me the most...what's the background of it....lovely design....cheers
