Hi, I'm a 20-something year old working in the field of landscape architecture and parks and recreation., and an avid drawer and painter in my spare time. I have heard a lot of good things about this place, and wanted to set up a sketchbook to start logging some of the stuff I do, and see how I progress in my skills.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy the ride!

Really nice environments! Keep up the good work.
Small speedsketch, one hour.
Quick doodle to practice utilizing texture.
quick doodle done up in pchat. No clue what sort of universe would exist where magenta and cyan costumes would be considered fashionable.
Something wayy oversaturated but oh well.
Digital sketchdump, newer stuff is on bottom. All characters copyright their respective owners. SOME are repeats, my apologies.
bunch of traditional drawings I did while on trip to my grandmother's house.
Kind of all over the place, sorry!
Am making it a point to get back to basics, and really start studying fundamentals. This was a first attempt at 30 second and 60 second gesture drawings.
THESE LOOK REALLY BAD TO ME but i thought i'd put them here just to get the ball rolling.
First pic is a bit of an experiment in brushwork as well as concepting out a look for a character of mine. Really enjoy using simple brushes for edgework, turns out!
Second is a landscape I've been working on off and on, concept work for an environment in another IP I've got in the works.
I'm gonna say what everyone else has said: your colours are fantastic, man. As for the gestures, they look just fine - after all, nothing's going to look great in 30 seconds.
Ugh, all those landscapes. So good. They're just so vast.
Wish I could provide useful critique, but you're leagues ahead, so all I have is praise.
We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out.

@littlebones: Thank you so much! Am glad you like my stuff!
Another quick-ish landscape painting, really fun to work on.
A bit of a portrait I did for a friend of her character, was a lot of fun to work on! Trying to keep with the details, though I don't have too much time for longterm finished stuff these days.
Love your envs manso sick, love the composition and colours. Your line style is great to look at too. Your characters have sweet anatomy just keep doing what youre doing and I will keep enjoying and we'll both love it
