MeteorCat: Thanks man! And thank you for the crit. I worked some more on the image, tell me what you think.
I thought the colours in the image were way too close to each other so I tried to get some more variation going on. I still think the image is too similar all around colour-wise. I think I'll try to play around with warm/cool relationships a bit more. Also not quite sure about the foreground figures. Still a wip. Also a quick crappy study.
Wow it looks so much better now. But, make sure not to listen to me too much because I've just started giving out critique's and I don't really feel comfortable with it. I'm just trying to stray away from repeating words of support and admiration and give out more than just compliments.
I personally really liked the figures, they're done in a small amount of strokes and colours which is my goal when I paint usually. The study is wonderful. What texture do you use to place all those pretty freckles? They're really good.
I don't even need to tell you to keep up the hard work
MeteorCat: hehe thanks man! I'll take all the crits I'm given The freckles are just with a round brush with spacing, size jitter and scattering.

Vulgar`: Thank you!
Mooglesarelittle: Thanks alot! Glad you enjoyed it.
Been away and busy during christmas but I should be starting to get back on track.
Heres some scribbling, nothing serious.
Mark Tarrisse: Thanks alot!
So I knocked my tea mug over today and got a burn size of my hand on my stomach. Had to spend most of the day getting to the doctors so didn't have much time to draw. Also it hurts which kinda makes drawing harder haha.
Soo yeah. I was trying out some new stuff with this. Looks bad but hey, alot of fun!

Fuck, I wouldn't be able to use colour even if my life depended on it. Among other things. Maybe it's just that I never have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.
The clouds are coloured really well but are a bit too mushed and blocky for my taste. I prefer them with gradients and softer edges.
The first and last image are superb. I love the strokes on the portrait and the painterly feel its so refreshing. The last image is something I wish I could be able to do. I can't put my finger on it but I just love looking at it.
Each time I come back having a look at your SB your stuff is better !
Keep it up ! you're making really great stuff !!!!
MeteorCat: Thanks man!
Izzual: Thans alot! Thats what I'm aiming for, it's hard to tell the progress myself
aminafshari: Thank you! Will do!
Bad Lipking study
Othrandir: Thanks a lot! Glad you like it
Elias Leonard: Thank you! Surely you jest, theres so many top class SBs around here.
Whaat? Awesome stuff from you Again??I can already see the top thing finished and detailed.
Do you ever start with linework or are you a stickler for big blob strokes in the begining?
Great stuff man. Love the still-lifes. I need to start doing the more.
"Step by Step One Travels Far."~Tolkien
Othrandir: Thank you! I usually just go straight into shapes and masses with colour. I'm really bad with lines.
Overtoom: Thank you! Lucky choices
TristanFletcher: Thanks man! I love still-lifes, they're so much fun.
scribble and some crappy 1min figures from life.
thanks for uploading mate! I've learnt a lot by just looking at your stills!
always an inspiration, always great to see how lose you are with your brush strokes. Think you should give yourself more credit though, think you are progressing great!
To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.
piskorz: Thank you! I'm glad if you found something of use
NyeAlexandaFrayne: Thanks! I've recently tried to be pretty loose, with various results. I feel like my tendency to just scribble around is hindering the effectiveness of the strokes; I gotta look into that. You're probably right about the credit; I don't often like the stuff I do but I do try to acknowledge the progress I'm making. Thanks again!
Sorry, haven't got much for today! Nothing serious but hey, I guess it's called a sketchbook for a reason!
