DANG! you have some really awesome work. you seem really fluent with a diversity in your subject matter. and, you play with the value levels quite well
takashmen: Thanks man! Will do
Mila: Thanks man!
Vulgar`: Thank you!
insane lemur: Thank you! You're absolutely right - I usually fall back into just using the regular round brush without the ability of using it effectively, thus ending up with pretty flat stuff. I'll try to mix it up. Thank you!
Denzel: Thank you!
Poop. I'll drop this and move on, this has too many problems. Did some other stuff too but they're not really worth posting.
Your eye is flawless and you work seems effortless.
Satu: Thank you! I've been way too lazy lately, trying to fix that. (Granted, I've had some other stuff going on that has to be taken care of.)
MeteorCat: Thanks! Nothing goes effortlessly for me haha.
Poking around. I'm trying to explore some more stuff for EoW.
Man this last landscape is just awesome ! Can't wait to see the finished version !
Vulgar`: Thanks! I'll finish it if I don't come up with anything better, still pondering.
MeteorCat: Thanks man!
Izzual: Thank you!
l'Aria: Thank you! They have their moments. Then look like shit the following morning
I'm reluctant to continue the eow piece. Still trying to figure out something better. Trying to fix some of the really obvious things wrong with my enviroments at the same time. Mainly having really boring compositions and perspectives.
Overtoom: Thank you!
MeteorCat: Thanks man! You mean the one on the latest post?
Sorry the updates are really boring and short. Yesterday was hectic and I've mostly been just thinking about artsy stuff without so much execution.
MeteorCat: Thanks! You're right - the back area could use some refining. Thats actually one of my many problems - when working black and white I stop thinking about colour and the material and just tend to go whatever looks good value wise. In the end I often make some areas too bright and run into problems when trying to blow some colour into them.
Ok well I definitely found out I don't want to work like this. I have to start mixing it up a loooot more with broader strokes and more brushvariety. Oh well. I just can't seem to stay concentrated on everything at the same time, values, brushstrokes, colour, perspective. I can sometimes hold my own with some of the aspects but I always end up absolutely lacking in some of the areas.
Awesome sketchbook mate, just having a good time browsing through it! Love your environments, you definitely have a good feeling for nice atmos and compositions and always something epic
The colors in the last mountain sketch are great, looks very promising, did you start it in b/w/greyscale too?
Just keep rockin, its always nice to come back here for inspiration.
damn, youve been crazy busy!hahaha. great paintings dude!I know ive said this before you're one of the people i always look up their SB whenever i get on this site, lmao. love to see more during the holiday break son!

wow amazing works my friend, you know working ing stages wight help with the frustration, if you are doing a finished piece give it some line prep, mask some things so its easier to paint, or do acouple of light and value studies, get all that frustration out so you can focus on doing your thing anyways keep on going i really like the way you show light and the concept are just awesome!!
Mhugo: Thanks alot man! The mountain piece was just me messing around with colours, albeit with some cool stuff going on. That one didn't start with greyscale, I went straight into colour. I actually don't like going b/w -> colour but I've been having a lot of trouble with colours so I've been trying to get the values down lately. I love your stuff.
razz: Thank you! And thanks for the crit! Your stuff is awesome. I kinda dropped that pieces as it had quite a few problems.
MeteorCat: Thanks man!
kimozabbi: Thanks man! Noo I've been such a lazy pos lately haha.
lionheartGFX: Thank you! And thanks for your tips! You are totally right. I really should fix my workflow.
