Hi fellow artist. My is name is Shaquille I have been drawing for a while and I am trying to find ways in improving my art.
For the past year (I think) I've been practicing the fundamentals of drawing and painting but still have a hard time seeing subjects and being able to draw from imagination and observation. Before I studied the fundamentals I copied drawings a lot (like family portraits) and that is why I am having difficulties. The books I have studied so far are: Andrew Loomis books, Bridgman's guide to Life Drawing, Vilppu, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, Keys to Drawing, The Student's Guide to Painting and many more.
Last post. Was trying to test the attachment manager. The still life I tried today but failed miserably because I have little experience in photoshop or in colouring (even though I tried studying it like crazy). The orange was in back lighting from the window and also had some light exposure from the left from another window. Painted this during the evening.
