So, it's a caricature painting, unfinished. I just can't decide whether I prefer the straight neck or the Beaky Buzzard version. I have two people I usually show this kind of thing to when I'm stuck like this and there's a split decision. I need a deciding vote.
So... CHOOSE! Thank you.
right, definitely for me
i like the one on the right. if your going for caricature then that definitely has more. the problem is the girl just looks nuts rather than exagerated

http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=192127"Everything must serve the idea. The means used to convey the idea should be the simplest and clear. Just what is required. No extra images. To me this is a universal principle of art. Saying as much as possible with a minimum of means."-John Huston, Director
Sunny: It's hard to caricature good-looking people. Many artists try to solve this problem by just sort of arbitrarily distorting a feature, like the forehead or cheekbones, but I never distort just for the sake of distortion; I accentuated her huge smile and her kind of blank stare, and gave her an articulated rib cage and obvious breast implants (to be honest, I'm not even sure if the woman actually has implants, but I thought it would be funny, plus Stern tends to like emaciated blondes with fake boobs, so there you go). Maybe Mort Drucker would have done a better job, but, hey - I'm no Mort Drucker.
Iridyse: That's an excellent point which completely escaped my notice. You have a great eye.
And thanks to everyone who helped! It looks like Beaky Buzzard won!
