Itīs nice to see youīre still around too. I am atm in the process of getting myself back into this forum. Iīve seen your stuff around. Seems you donīt misss out any activity thatīs around here. The panel of the week is kind of a new thing to me. Iīll drop by shortly.
Okay here are some female faces.
and hereīs a DSG
And the next page of face studies
And this entry is now changed because it definetly disrupted the flow of the SB.
No denying that. I just couldnīt stand scrolling over this time and again. *bleah*
So hereīs a bump:

And work for tattoo done over christmass for a friend of mine
The chinese writing translates as: Running water canīt get stale.
Be aware of crappy phone camera pics
Thank you Mokinzi and scareybunny.
I do hope the anatomy gets better. And as for the tattoo, itīs not tattooed.
Itīs painted. Temporal tattoo. Duration for looking good, between three days and a week. Hereīs mine. Had it for one and a half weeks before I got tired
of the design. Itīs a bit distoreted because I did myself. But I do Love how the fire turned out.
And some indoor sketches as ref for an ad photoshoot. So the photografer and set designer are not working blindly.
Wonderful characters, nice enviros, lots of improvement... just keep up the good work. One thing to look at is integrating whatever character/creature you have made into their enviro.
In terms of faces, I think you might want to look at some of the musculature of the face. It'll help you show expression. Also, look at some real life eyes, and other facial features. Eg. Eyes are round, and have the inner corner further forward that the outside.

ollaH Pixie Trick
Thankk you for the kind comment as well as the tip. I will look at those aspects a little down the road but you got the weak points spot on. I am digging myself thru one of A. Loomis. Heīll cover all of that a little later in the book. Wait and see.
As for books, here are two pages out of me new analog sketchbook:
doodles are cool. love seeing some random stuff. shows talent. really enjoyed the first one in the post. awesome work.
Now THATīs a concept. Now we know how to beat the pirates out of their wenches. Ninjajedi. Hehehehe. I gotta look yer work for a concept of this. Any hints to where?
Yeah Loonis is serious shit. Things get so: Dīoh!!!! THATīs how itīs done!
Welcome. Glad you like the stuff. Whoo, I am talented. (worked on it just a teeensy little bit) And I do like randomnes. But I wanna do some more fun stuff these days.
So hereīs what seems to be my take on Skeletor. Hm! I rather heīs
Creator of the so named Castle. I know I totally botched his right shoulder and how heīs holding the ax. Suggestions anyone?
Hope I didnīt post this allready. Canīt remember.
You ask what it is? Wait for it, waaaiiit.... THERE IT IS!
Oh wow, your stuff has come along in leaps and bounds since I last dropped by here! The environments are especially coming along nicely, my fave was that eagle 'rock' piece - really cool effect on that one, it looks really life-like and solid in appearance. It's also nice to see you doing a lot more colour work.
Thanks for dropping in and the nice comments. I like the "Vogel Rock"
very much too.
Okay, here are some new approaches to my gaming designs. Kind of WIP.
Any ideas anyone?
And then I was more like - nah - itīs gotta be more icy. And then he needed some different moves.
a few Photoshop retouching jobs. Bodypainting at a goth party, photos done by Arpad Ikuma in fron of a green screen and then I did the retoching wiht some help from savagly scavengend, traded or just free textures / backgrounds.
Had to draw lions for a customer. MAde me think of Kitten Kaboodle again.
So hereīs a sketch. "Put your flippers where I can see them, Slimeball!!!!"
more Tiffany Tiger sketchart. I think iīm finally getting the hang of it and how
I wanna portrait her.
Looks like you've improved loads since I last dropped by ! great stuff, loved the ice wizard and the mole character from post #220 - would be great to see that worked in a full piece.
Keep it up !
Heya Pixie Trick (izzat the Tarsis in ye avatar btw?)
Thanks for dropping in. I am not sure if I will color the expressions. I am still searching for the right character designs. Figured if I really wanna be in comics I better get started now. I color them then. Fair?
Figures. The mole creature is one of the faster and less liked one for me. But they all most possibly will be used in one way ot the other in teh comic.
Hereīs some more searching for the characters. Heīs a Giant Panda (dīuh)
The hat will go and the komage will stay. Heīll be mechanic / hand / Navigator ... ah I donīt know. The main characters will be a lioness and a tigeress in spaceship. Who else is in the ship? Theyīre lawkeepers, kind of, in an intergalactic (sic) protected habitat with lots of yet unknown creatures, "primitves", smugglers, rouge miners and much more. Well, thatīs the plan.
And here the quest for a cute little lion or baby lion for a corporate character/logo and where it dead ends unfortunately. Whole thing was nixed.
Can you believe it? No matching cute little lion in there. Well, thatīs the live of the freelance illustrator.
Thanks Pixi Trick. But to tell ya the truth, I am more like dumbfounded than pissed off. Usually with stuff like that theres SOMETHING that klicks with the customer. And hey, beeing able to relax and let go is mandatory if oneīs gonna deal with customers. hehehe.
On to something completely different. The first one was a VERY quick PS sketch. I wanted to get the feel of an vintage "Popular mechanics" magazin.
The second one is one of these mirrored digisketches. Iīve seen a few around but donīt even know what the deal behind them is but I wanted to give it a try. And then I felt it needed a little color. Iīll do more of these for sure.
This is real fun. One more:
Mahahaha-ha This is great fun
