this is a good start. im glad to see you sketching! try studying anatomy, it will help you structure your figures better (yeah yeah, i know you already know, but we all need reminding. )
the monsters are cool.

We the unwilling, Led by the unknowing, Are doing the impossible, For the ungrateful. We have done so much, For so long, With so little, We are now qualified to do ANYTHING with NOTHING!
@JABAJAWOOLU: Thanks fer the comment.
A-hem. Yeah, I always start in pencil. Somehow I don´t get the hang of starting in PS. And I haven´t the foggies about painter. BUT, I dun always touch up digitally.

Well. as said in the edites first topic, here´come sketches and stuff from work and beyond.
Fist the sketches:
And here´re the roughed out colored sketches.
Im pretty happy with them. Turnes out fine from the idea. My Hands get definetly better, though I´ve prolly a long way to go still.
And here´re some sketches with G*rrrls. At least Girl parts. Gotta work that anatomy. *sigh* Thank godess fer reffs.
It´s not that easy. Damn. But good enuff.
In case you didn´t recognise right away, they´re for a theater production of the famous Shirley McLaine/ Jack Lemmon Flick, original a french Musical, about a Streetwalker and a Cop who falls in Love with her.
aaaand more streetwalker sketches. Well, sketches of her basic trade tools.
The roughed out color sketches. Iīm pretty happy how they turned out.
I know, the stuff is not really fantasy concepts or related, but it pays the rent. And nothing beats getting payed fer doing what I like best, ne?
These two were originally designed for a pharmacy ringīs weight loss programm. They told me they wanted a recognizable and memorable figure that could be used for quite some time in different contexts(?). These were my first drafts. Frankly they had absolutely no idea about the amount of work that goes into stuff like this, even when itīs rushed. So I told īem to go and look for somebody else to do what they want for what they intended to pay.
The space in the poster was ultimately filled with a REALLY crappy clip art.
How to throw a ritzy party in an unfinished building.
...for a REALLY big german motor company.
The skirt of the last one was too short. so I had to enhance the lenght. Canīt seem to find the original atm.
Made for an invitation to a childrens birthday party. Playing with paper maché was the main topic.
First the sketch:
Then the the pencils and inks:
And the finished piece:
I am REALLY happy how it turned out. I know that the pic got some Escher like quirks but there wasnīt enuff time and neither the customer nor the kids really cared. I got sufficent time for coloring which was real nice for a change and I think I got īem pretty good for my standards.
...for an upcoming _______-Event. Sorry, can´t tell details. yet.
They didn´t really knew whta they wanted. First it was: go gothic, then it was go sci-fi techi and then; better go both ways.
So here are some of the sketches I did trying to nail what they didn´t know.
The finished stage will look like nothing you can see here, unfortunately.

Commission for a club. They wanted an Illustration for the Hosts and teachers of their regular Tango Events. I suck at drawing real people IMO.
But I pulled it off good enuff. everbody was happy. Or at least thatīs what they told me. I ainīt complaining then.
Design and construction. Roadshow for KINEPOLIS Cinema chain in Belgium, France and Spain. Touring from on theatre to another in turns of two weeks. It had to fit into a specific lorry and the setup should be handled by only two operators and two hired hands. Took quit some thinking and tinkering.
Got an programmed circle of movement and sound with a recharging sequenz. Basically the corn cob in the middle is multiplied and then made into Popcorn. The Machine actually gives out Popcorn which is given to patrons to increase popcorn sales in the theatres. I gots a movie of the workin´ machine somewhere. Will post it when I find it.
I really loved my old job.
Woohoo. Found the link. Check it out. Comment! !)

Found time to do some real sketching yesterday.
This is supposed to be a rough for an armor Iīm planning to create for one of my next bodypainting actions.
And sumthin jest to get going
A tryout in reducing to realy plain b/w
More as it comes.
Quicky @ work.
I was thinking about doing a mural onto a friends garage.
This is one of the sketches. Prolly three months old. I still
like the idea best. Think about roughing it out some more
and throw some colors at it digitally just to be sure.
Some exercises after how to draw animals
And phonepad doodles from yesterday.
Nice details the 28. Though the torso is a bit confusing.
Also study the bones a bit, looking a the purple girl in the post 26, the ribs are a bit off. Bones have a big influence on the body, so don't avoid them =)
Hope it helps !
