Don't fall into that man...I mean not even the best anatomy book/tutorial/dvd will solve your fundamental issues. Starting by gesture. Please study gesture, then study form, and only after you've mastered both you can start thinking about learning anatomy, otherwise it'll be quite frustrating, unproductive, pointless, inefficient. I've been there
Hi! A lot of good life drawing and anatomy studies here! Keep up ther good work!
Really enjoyed looking at your work. You have a good understanding of the human anatomy. I specially liked the nude pencil drawing on you 26th post; although the muscle structure is very subtil defined, you really get the idea of its pattern under the skin.
Please post more similar pencil drawings if you have.
Also, hope you have time to stop by my SB
All the best,
Check out my SB and please leave a comment or something
that girl in your first post is pure awesome~
Damn... this is some pretty badass stuff for a 16 year old, i wish i had those skills when i was 16, you keep working hard mate, you are talented.
i think your linework / non-shaded pieces look a tid better cause the lines are starting to feel safer and controlled. keep pushing those anatomy studies and you'll soon discover even more safety when drawing people.
for the painted stuff, i strongly recomend some life studies. they are 10.000 times cooler and harder to do than photo studies and they help you improve immensely. you'll start learning how to notice things in real life, sizes, textures, colors, lighting scenarios and more.
