SF Concept Image
THIS IS AWESOME!
BLAST ON YOU!
Saaaay, that's pretty cool! I like how you set the scene up with the 3d render...it's great to watch it come from that basic lighting study to the full picture.

I am super imressed. Very interesting way of working too. How long did it take to complete the whole thing?
Very nice...I myself am horrible at setting up city shots, it never occured to me that one could make an easy, boxy rendition to get the shapes and lighting down and take it from there. Thanks for the tip!
Verrrry cool. Thanks a lot for posting the progress ! Is this for a specific project ? Game.. ? (Don't get in trouble with NDAs tho !):chug:
yo, i like your way of working....
and again, how long did it take you?

fukifino - i used standard lights and renderer in 3D-Max5.
i think that standard set in 3D-Max is good enough for me.

thank you very much for your comment~ ^^
I agree this piece is awesome but I do have on crit. It looks like the front of the car is facing to the left because of the headlights. So if the skid marks are correct the car was driving really fast backwards and slammed on the breaks which I don't see happening. So make the left side of the car look more like the back of a car. I love the skid marks as a directional device.
This is a really great peice, The lighting is excellent but the use of atmospheric perspective is brilliant. The city scape definitely feels like it has a lot of depth. Awsome!
Pene Menn : ehehe by NDA I meant "Non Disclosure Agreement". Legal paper you sign when working on a production. basicaly it states that if you make anything you produce public before a due date, you can get sued. No worries in this case tho
love the way you set it up, never ever thought of doing something like that.

looks amazing. the image progress shots was very interesting too, thanks for posting it..
if theres anything in this pic that can be improved its that smoke behing the robot. took a while before i got what it was. you could show more or the flames too make it more clear maybe. anyway, amazing pic. nice work
My only advice would be to just run it through a sharpen filter once and it will look SO much better!
J?genGiftm?daren - sorry my bad english ^^; you say that 'what it was behind the smoke?' is that your question ?
ummm... i think that i didn't try to paint it behind that smoke. and i have image progress shots no more in this image. sorry my bad english ^^;;;;
thank you for your comment~
amphex and Miau - thank you for your advice. immediately i applied. i never thought like that. thank you very verrrrrrrrrry much ^0^
