Been working on my first 'Sketch Mock ups'.
Great for showing doodles to your social networks and such, or to show professional artworks to your clients.

Incredible work here, Michael! You've managed to get such a good vibrancy of colors out of photoshop that I have trouble with at the moment. And I love that you have an animator's sense of weight/balance/style to your work (at least that's what comes off to me). The balance/exhausted gestures were the thing that caught my eyes the most. I'll have to try out that exercise as well.
I must say I agree with MrFrenik. Your work has the feel of an animator's hand which I absolutely love. I'm currently trying to learn how to draw a bit more like that but I'm having a lot of trouble being a realist drawing mainly from observation.
I really enjoyed seeing your stuff and I hope to see more.
Cheers MrFrenik and MeteorCat!
To answer your question; yes, I'm a graduate from AnimationMentor and the sketches you refer to, where done during that period (2009). Thanks both for such kind words! Appreciate it!
Here are some ZBrush sketches/doodles I did a while ago;
thx a lot guys! Appreciate it very much!
I am creating these 'characters' for a series called 'Karakter'. Drawing them instantly on a foamboard canvas 50 x 70 cm, with a Staedtler (lumocolor) permanent marker. Working on these for an upcoming exposition I'm participating in.
