A work in progress from my drawing exam. One day to go... I have to fix the light direction on the middle ground, and work for finishing touches.
The knee studies are an assignment from our instructors, to be certain we can give our best in the exam.
Marian, do you mean, they are bigger than normal, or just feel bigger for the foreshortening. I didn't catch If you think it is a good or bad thing
Nontheless, the exam ended - I got a 6 (this is A), this work and 2 others were taken for the next annual exhibition, but still don't know If they will be accepted by the jury.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to photo the finished work, so I post a photo from the end of the day, but still far from the finished work I think.
And the lower photo is our workshop (atelier), with the works from the last pose, exhibited for the instructors to asses
Today started my painting exam, which will last 5 days x 3hrs. This is my preliminary sketch, which I started directly with watercolor.
This is my painting exam work. I think I got a B, with the remark, that I should take painting more seriously. I don't agree with that, because I spent quite a lot of time and effort (especially compared to the majority), and there is progress in my work... One of my works was taken for the annual exhibition again, but I am not fond of It, especially with my name under it. It seems my instructors love the color black way too much, and I've been aiming to use black very sparingly, because nothing in nature is truly black, especially in daylight conditions, and I am keen on using more colorful and intense palettes.
So, I'm not cool with the outcome of the exam (especially the remarks, not so much about the evaluation). But well, I've still got a lot of works to do, before my opinion counts. I know I have much room for improvement and I am going to keep working as diligently as ever.
Some sketchbook entries from last days.
Finally, some work posted. Had been back home for a week, so no internet. Now I'm back to my college town.

Здравей Moonrage, благодаря ти за поста. Имаш някои страхотни попадения и една петица от мен. До скоро...
Long time, no see.
I've been overwhelmed with design work lately. I still draw a lot in my sketchbooks, but I don't feel like taking a photo of them yet. Enjoy!
The last one is 5+ !
I'm gonna still be working on it, until it is a finished painting.
A new study and a color attempt at the last one... This one came out good for a one day job.
A new study, this time a head study. I contemplated over some things in a post in my blog
And then decided to put wisdom into practice. This study is the result. I also wrote a Work in progress guide
Here are some more recent sketches. I'm gonna do some digital today too.
