Either the people I have sent pm's to have not responded or they never received them.
Either way, I have no clue if the message was ever sent because there is no sign of the sent message anywhere in my inbox or sentbox or list of messages.
I'll send a message and see no sign of the message I just sent. I'l try to send a duplicate but I will get the message that I am unable to send more than 1 every 3 minutes. so maybe it is sending? I'm not sure.
If someone could help me clear this up I would be very appreciative.
I just noticed today that it was possible to change your settings so that it saves a copy of your messages in a sent messages folder. I don't know why it doesn't automatically do this, but yeah, you should change that so you can actually see sent messages. It was bothering me too because on some of them I wanted to see what exactly I had said in earlier messages but couldn't.
Go to your user CP, then under Settings and Options>Edit Options scroll down and partway through there is a checkbox you can click.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." -- Bruce Lee
There is an option to get notification that the recipient has opened your pm.
When you create a new message, scroll down to where it says "Additional Options."
Check "Request a read receipt for this message."
You can also check "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder" if you didn't set this option as Andrew explained above.
