Keep having fun learning and exploring worlds
sketchbook updated October 6th
Super sweet work here !
On this one => http://conceptart.org/forums/attachm...6&d=1351047467 there is something that bother me, the head seems just a little too big, or maybe it's because there is more details on it. Super cool render still.
I'll come back here
Wow wow wow. I adore your work. Looking through your sketchbook is always inspiring!
awesome sketchbook, love going through it.
i like your work, nice and solid. only thing i'd like to point out to you is the sense of space, i think it could use some work.
if details and composition, and colour and etc are there, the mood isn't and the many details confuse me at times, and
i end up wondering where i should look first.
Wow! Your work is really amazing. Your eye for color is fantastic. I would love it if you could take a look at my sketchbook and give me some advice.
I enjoy your work.
Zero things to contribute, just going to sit here and stare at the awesome art for the rest of forever.
Among obvious technical skill you've got a real nice sense of where to detail and where to simplify - very nice.
Wow, awesome style! Keep 'em coming!
Thanks for all the replies and responses.
"What's your favorite thing about art?" I'd answered it differently when I was younger because I thought I knew what I was talking about (I was wrong).
This is not the type of craft that one can read about, hear from a respected lecturer, or see in a how-to video and become an expert without doing it in diligent fashion. One might say, "this shit is really difficult". Even when you think you may have broken through, you're wrong. Someone out there is better.
I think I like that its always the same, and always different. I like that it's a lifetime commitment. I like that even the most untrained hack can think they are an artistic genius. I like that I'll always look back at my work from last week and think it sucks. Through all the challenges and difficulty, I like that it's still just another expression of the imagination.
@phatbuddha - At a high level, my advice is to keep looking for inspiration. Stick with the mechanics you're exploring; although tedious now, they pay off in the future. Don't guess when you're designing images, always follow what nature tells you to draw with solid structure and form. Keep learning anatomy and perspective, if you don't it will catch up with you and haunt your dreams with shitty architecture and f**cked up facial structure Most of all, realize that you WILL get better and find your own voice as an artist if you keep working at it.
damn your awesome. would love to see you paint live, through livestream (which would be awesome) or just a recorded process vid. but im just wishing . . . sorry ha, just am really digging your work flow, id like to see how it happens.
