Whew, today was just one of those days that has you tempted to crumple everything you doodle on lol. Anyways, these are just a few of the sketches I had time to do in my handy-dandy-sketchbook.
1. Just one of the pages of gestures I did to get the day going (from photos).
2. After warming up I decided to do some full figures from imagination. ^^: Definitely have quite a lot of anatomy issues (along with warped faces lol).
3. Finally a page of my studies from photos. This page in particular I did to cool myself off from going crazy lol, since oddly enough studying the female figure is rather relaxing.. Who would of known ahah
DEM BOOBS. er...*combs hair*..i mean...great to see the updates matey, the female figure seems to be coming along well, might i suggest keeping in mind not to run too much before you walk? try studying the anatomical parts of different areas of the body and perhaps some construction!
oh oh oh and variety.
Oh and get msn oh
keep going buddy
Never Attempt the Possible;attempt the impossible and even if you fail, you'll fall among the stars.
Whew, I was really getting worried I would lose my attachments forever ahah. But, thank goodness everything is seemingly back to normal again.
FootstepsBeckon: lol thanks for the advice, T-T there's just never a shortage of stuff to work on. lol and for some reason msn is one of those programs that keeps not responding and crashes on my computer, so I the only messenger I ever can get to work is old AIM lol.
1st Image: Here I did some figures from imagination trying to figure out which parts of the body I find myself guessing. The result: I really need to work on my profile views, lol let alone the connecting joints of the body.
2nd Image: These is a page of studies I did on the male form from photos where I'm specifically trying to learn how the head and arms attach to the body. I also tried to use as minimal amount of structure lines as possible for the head and body since it helps me think about proportions more not having shapes to guide me. (But, in retrospect I should of probably used some more guides for the faces ^^; )
3rd Image: Here's one of my first attempts to really try learning perspective with something simple. All I'm doing is trying to get used to drawing the figure to fit the space of the perspective. lol I'm so used to drawing sparatically different sized figures that it's definitely going to be a useful challenge to myself to get my figure to fit the perspective.
I'm also working on some backgrounds but those are still in progress. ^^: I just feel that if I really want to improve the dynamics of my figures and move from simple figures to illustrations I gotta get to learning perspective and backgrounds.
4th Image: Another simple page of basic figures and heads from imagination just because I find it fun lol.
Extra notes: Lately my photoshop has been crashing after just 10minutes of having it open, so right now I'm in the process of getting a new and improved computer to finally stop having to deal with all the latency of every brush stroke and computer lockups ahah.

I gotta say wow, the past few days have been just awesomely hecktic with all the things I've always wanted to do actually becoming reality! I've always wanted to have my own website and my own webcomic on just drawing whatever I could thing of, and now I'm almost there lol.
As I was studying some perspective I just decided I had to then and there just wing it and start making my own comics even tho I have no idea what the heck I'm doing ahah. So, here is the very first entry into my coming webcomic series "Pervy Moments" that follow the stupefied moments in my life.
Whats so great about this I feel is that as I do this I can continue to not only learn but to actually create something real, something people can enjoy (^^; at least I hope), and get that much closer to having the capability to do this for a living. I just hope all those reading this enjoy the comic lol.
Side Note: I created this using adobe illustrator since at the moment my computer just can't handle photoshop ^^;, so right now I'm really excited to eventually get that new computer in and start adding a more painterly quality to my stuff lol.
Thanks for visiting my sketchbook and leaving some encouraging comments, I was really happy with my last post... progress at last! I need to keep up the momentum, like you seem to have. Its tough some days but always worth doing something. Your figure studies are fantastic, I especially like the muscular torsos. I found this (see below) through the concept art thread for references and free ebooks, think you may like it. Just when you think Loomis is detailed! Bye.
Yay! Finally after waiting for such a long time, I finally get the chance to upload some of the designs I've been working on *Hurray*!
For those who don't know, I work for a clothing brand called LoyalKNG which is comprised of me, my two brothers, and friends just doing what we love in order to document the culture of the world around us. lol its kind of a blessing having each of us putting together our unique skills to push for a similar cause, which I just find pretty awesome ^^.
Anyways here is one of the t-shirt designs I did called Bat Luchador. lol I honestly can't remember how the idea came up to make bomberman dress up as batman to have a luchador match with bane, but I really had a ton of fun creating it.
This is actually the first design I got the chance to do on my own in illustrator, since the usual process is me doing the pencilings and leaving the rest to my brother to finish with color. lol so to be able to show everyone I was capable of doing it on my own was amazing, and to see the people around me enjoy the designs I make completely on my own is something that could keep me happy for the rest of my life ahah.
Dayle: Thanks so much for the link and the compliments o-o, lol I'm always scurrying the internet for more reference material so that link is going straight to my bookmarks ahah.
Riox: ^^ really appreciate the comment! For the pencil sketches some are from photos, some are for imagination, though I would imagine most of the less bad ones are probably from photos haha. As for the comic (and designs) it's from imagination, since honestly it's hard for me to take much enjoyment from doing anything finished that isn't completely from my head. ^^; tho that may be more bad then good, but it's at least more fun for myself.
Sidenote: This design in particular is in pre-order right now so you can checkout mroe details from me or maybe even checkout the website: Loyakng.com

wants me a teeshirt. HOW MUCH PAL.
Never Attempt the Possible;attempt the impossible and even if you fail, you'll fall among the stars.
Today I thought I'd go ahead and toss in my warm up figures sketches along with my Loyal K.N.G. design to break up the monotony of just pushing out digital stuff ^^; .
Images 1-4: The first four images are the simple sketches just to get more of the gestures from imagination (except for the first image which is are photo studies). lol i just always find it helpful to do quick figures before I start any actual finished doodles.
Images 5-6:The last two images is of another Loyal K.N.G. design called "The Son of KNG", lol which I'm sure many of you art fans will recognize its a Rene Magritte "The Son of Man" reference. For those who don't know, Magritte's original painting had the message of that everything is hidden by something and what we cant see is what we are drawn to. In this case I used Rorshach as the medium of carrying the the logo for LoyalKNG which also represents knowledge.
So, what I was trying to do with the design is that your eyes are drawn to the apple and then to the face like Magritte's original painting but this time when you try to find out what the face is, your seeking not only what is hidden but constantly pushing yourself to seek knowledge itself. lol though hopefully that knowledge is something you plan to use sooner or later ahah.
FootstepsBeckon: lol thanks a lot for the interest, ^^; it really does mean a ton! the new season should be about 30$ shipped, though they are also in pre-order right now so we're still waiting to work out all the kinks in the printing until the new line is officially released. Though over at the site store the t-shirts generally range from 20$ to 30$.
Side Note: for the first time ever I'm starting to put more time into finishing things instead of of my sketchbook which in a way feels awesome since I feel I'm actually doing something instead of living as a caveman lol. So, right now I'm trying to find that happy medium of doing both since right now most of my sketches are concepts which I can't share till the new season comes out which I really don't to go off and disappear ahah.

1st Image: Yay for finally finishing up another Pervy Moments comics! lol honestly creating these comics is one of the funnest things ever o-o just having the power to create a story is so amazing. In a way its like your finally seeing the product of all your studies in creating things from your imagination which really is just plain fun ahah. Whether or not they're actually funny or not is another story though ^^;..
2nd Image: I've also opened up my loomis book to checkout it's section on perspective, since as of right now I feel my understanding of perspective and environments isn't at a level I can apply it to finished work yet... But eventually one of these days *stares into the sunset*
3rd Image: Lastly is a page of warmups I did from imagination. ^^; i still have a horrible taste in clothing ahah, so I'll have to work on that also.
Here's another design I did for Loyal K.N.G. called "Final Fairytale" that was just a blast of fun ahah. I just learned so much playing with the different anatomical features of the animals. Though I have to admit I was pretty worried I wouldn't be able to do this kind of design since before this I never really studied animals let alone for something that was more finished.
lol I guess the saying of being able to draw humans lets you draw just about anything is true.. well, at least to the extent of my abilities ^^;
As a kid I always wondered what if the wolf from Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs was the same wolf, and being such a kid during the time of the classic RPG games of the Final Fantasy series, I would always see in my mind Red and the three pigs teaming together to do battle against the wolf in RPG fashion. Red Riding Hood being the white mage, the pigs being the warrior, black mage, monk, and the wolf as Garland the epic boss in any JRPG. lol also decided to toss in a Ryu (from street fighter) reference for fun.

Just another small update today. Yesterday was my old man's birthday so little proficiency was gained that day ahah.
Tho i did have some time to doodle up a few figures from imagination. Right now i'm try to push myself to draw complete figures in clothing since from the very beginning when I started drawing the hardest thing for me was drawing a appropriate looking/size face on a well proportioned body, let alone it being clothed. So, now I think I've finally gotten to the point where I can do it pretty easily through the use of just my simple gestures and then adding detail.
Side note: ^^; I've been struggling with the conceptart uploader lately with it deleting the images I upload after I post and having to go back in and edit the images back in. I'm starting to wonder if anyone else deals with that problem..
Edit: Like this time it wont show one of other images I uploaded, and only shows two of them ^^;..

1st Image: A study of a couple faces from photos.
2nd Image: Some doodles from my imagination of which I did horrible lol. So, instead I tried getting some cleaner line-work for details in clothing which was actually pretty fun o-o just time consuming.
3rd Image: finally this is some quick concept sketches for myself for a upcoming pervy moment's webcomic. lol I'm so used to not getting to show anything other then my studies and quick sketches that its feels very awesome to be able to also show what I'm working on to be finished since its for myself ahah. Usually for anything I do I always make a reference sheet to remind me on how I plan to dress the character, since once I start really foreshortening them and don't make a sheet for reference they tend to get kind of wonky and stiff.
I'll give cookies tho those who can guess the reference by the way!

Heya everyone who happens to be reading this! I thought I would show you guys what I'm currently working on (my personal stuff anyways ahah).
Right now I'm just working on getting up a Deviant ID image that would also double for looking stupid lol. I was originally going to use the girls in the previous posts that were dressed up in armor/robes, but I decided it was just better to instead just toss in my first pet turtle instead -- Crankey.
The first image is the initial sketch, and the second is my semi-final inks I did in Adobe Illustrator. This time around tho I'm actually going to use photoshop to color the image so wish me luck on not screwing up to much ahah since this is my first time actually using it to finish something.
Funny enough it seems I can't paint to well with photoshop due to the lag, but I can still at least color with, so if anything it'll get me more used to photoshop by the time I start painting seriously.
Wow, great job on the many figure drawings, I know that is something I really have to work on.Plus great t-shirt designs, the colors really stand out.I also like your changes on your sketch and lineart of your above turtle drawing.
And ya I notice sometimes concept art has a problem showing uploading artwork. Sometimes I leave and its there later or I may have to reload it.
Jellyswirl: lol thanks for the comment, and thank goodness also! ^^; I thought I was going to be lonely forever ahah. Thanks to you I'm guaranteed at least a week of sanity before lonely depression kicks back in.
1st Image: I wanted to test out sketching in photoshop so here are the results. ^^: nothing pretty but I actually had a lot of fun just drawing in there. I'm so used to the hardness of my 2h graphite that it actually is a whole new world of flowingness to draw using a tablet. Will definitely need to do this more often.
2nd Image: This is a winter-line design I did for LoyalKNG called Daft Bomb, and since I'm a little to lazy to type out the description of this.. I"ll just copy and paste what I typed in deviantart:
"This is an design I did for LoyalKNG's winter line which I just had a huge heaping of fun working on lol.
The original concept was to have the Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel and Thomans Bangalter riding on a atomic bomb with a face painted on it to pay tribute to the old war planes.. But, one thing lead to another and before I knew it the bomb became Bullet Bill instead ahah. Funny how those things come about.
Anyways, the message was originally suppose to mean to explode the world with your 'music', but It could mean anything you want it to at this point.
To get this T-shirt design for yourself, you can checkout the loyalkng website: loyalkng.com"
Sidenote: ^^; it seems I'm having the problem of exporting photoshop images that keep looking more saturated and darker... so the last 2-3 days of my work are kind of at a standstill unless I figure how to fix it. Spent a good few hours searching the forums and following instructions but nothing seems to work.. lol guess i'll figure out something.
Its so amazing how different it feels to draw in photoshop now. When I first tried a few months back I couldn't draw a darn thing, lol but now its nothing short of addicting at how much fun it is (since I finally have some actually sense of structure).
What I dislike about graphite is the issue that I never really want to draw anything to a finish since I hate erasing, and when it come to rendering most of it is lost through the scanning process, lol not including the pain of graphite always smearing. So to be able to not need to erase in photoshop and no horrible smearing or having to scan, it makes me actually want to draw everything ahah.
The first image is some of the sketches I finished up from imagination. I actually tried changing up the hard round brush with each figure I drew to test out what seems to work best.
The second image is just a example of the roughs I do before I go over it with a more finished line-art. ^^: I sort of scrapped the first two figure's roughs since I didn't think I would need it for anything, so I only have the last 3 roughs to show.

great sketchbook .. i love your line work , keep it up
The guy with the green apple is kick-ass. I love the cartoons too, they are really funny, want to see more.
Twinkle, twinkle little star
I don't wonder what you are
For by spectroscopic ken
I know that you are hydrogen - Ian D.
ayoub66:Thanks so much for the compliment! Your kind word elevates me off the ground~ like'a boss
Nerferinn: o-o you have no idea how much your simple comment motivated me. Just the thought of someone far better then I am taking the time to say my studies are paying off is honestly one of the most encouraging/humbling things I could ever experience ^^. Let alone hearing "great work".. T_T
Also your paintings are what motivated me to try painting in this post lol.
Vay: Thank goodness someone thought my comics were at least a little giggle worthy ahah since they really are a blast to make. Not sure when I'll do the next one but I was planning to do one a week... starting this or next week!
1st & 2nd Image: Just thought I might as well show how I roughly draw my figures, since I personally learn a lot from artist by just seeing how they sketch lol. The 2nd image is the finished line art where I was trying to push my knowledge of drapery/armor.. One thing is for sure though, I could always learn better anatomy, but my sense of fashion is something that just can't improve lol.
3rd & 4th Image: The 3rd image is the final inks for the portrait I painted. Now the 4th image was my very first attempt at digitally painting all from imagination o-o and all I have to say is that it was amazingly fun.
One of the things I don't exactly do on purpose, but I am conscious of it, is that I generally draw the same kind of girl in both facial features and body type. Reason why is that before I started drawing I always loved how each particular artist I admired always had their own "girl" that they always drew. lol people like Terry Dodson, Scott Campbell, Ed Benes, Eric Basaldua, and Mike DeBalfo (and the list goes on lol). You could just look at how they draw their girl and instantly think, "oh that's *insert person here*'s girl!" and that's something I always wanted to achieve so that when someone sees a female drawing of mine, they would go "Ah! that's a pervy girl!" hehehe... And to be able to now paint this, its as if my default girl just leveled up!
Anyways, back to the painting! I had such a fun time painting her, since I really am starting to get a much better understanding of how different layers work, and the way pixels change with different brushes. lol Pretty much I just tried to use all the knowledge I learned from Dave Rapoza's Schoolism video and the little understanding I have of color theory to paint this. There's a ton left to improve, but with this I now know that painting is definitely within my realm now since my structure and basic drawing skill set is not as mediocre ahah.

awesome stuff lately bro!! i love those Pervvy moments!! haha those rock! also the t-shirts are so cool man, i wish i had money for one! one day soon... after school. i promise!
Oh man today is the best day ever! First I get an awesome comment from NickyBeats which literally kick started my day with a huge boost of momentum, then now the guys at the Scott Pilgrim VS. The World facebook page featured my Scott Pilgrim VS. The Warriors T-shirt designs on their wall! http://www.facebook.com/ScottPilgrim...09102529113603
o-o This feeling is just so amazing, all these people loving a design I created... Nothing in the world could touch how happy I am right now. Even Edgar Wright wants this design, the director of Scott Pilgrim VS. The World, now that's just nuts!
Right Now LoyalKNG is just a band of me and my two brothers and friends putting every second of our lives to do what we want to do for a living. And right now the lives of my brothers, my parents, friends and every person wearing a design we worked so hard to created is counting on me to keep on improving to bring on more.. T-T If that's not art in itself, the I don't know what is. I just hope all those reading right now just watch me keep on growing.
Whew, now with all that excitement over, here are the personal doodles I did today.
1st Image: A page from imagination of my rough figures in different poses. lol pretty much something I do to loosen up.
2nd Image: And here is my second attempt at painting a girl from imagination. lol this time I put much more time in making a clean line-art before going into painting and tried to put all the knowledge I have into seeing what I could create. So this is probably my limit at what I can currently paint using my imagination.. ^^; definitely way to much soft round going on so I'll probably do one more from imagination of a guy to make sure I understand what I need to study in order to power up my painting skills ahah.

Hello anyone who is reading this! Since exams are coming up pretty soon and my May deadline for designs are coming up, I may not be updating as often until the mid of May when exams are over.
I'll still have time to do my Pervy Moments comics though (thanks again to the encouragement from Nickybeats and Vay since your words really pushed me to do it now instead of next week o-o) of which i'm currently working on inking/coloring of the third one and I have to say it's going to be pretty darn stupid like the first two lol.. I just hope its actually a bit funny ^^;. Have a lot of respect for any creators, since comics really do take a lot of time and knowledge to make ahah. Definitely going to also keep studying painting since that's something I'm horrible at and need to really get better if I want to jump the next wall of improvement.
Image: Finally I also got the go to share another one of my LoyalKNG winter-line designs called "United Monsters". The layout and pencilings were by me, but the final inks and colors were by another LKNG member.
The idea behind the design is that monsters are all uniting together to use their unique talents to raise the Atama flag of knowledge! Jet Jaguar using his knee bending flexibility to lift from the very bottom, Godzilla being the base of power, and since Ghidora doesn't have arms we have Mechagodzilla combining with Ghidora to create Mechaghidora to help push from the very top! Looking at Mechagodzilla just cracks me up for some reason hehe.
Sidenotes: I should also note that the Winter 2010 designs I've posted (The Warriors, United Monsters, and Daft Bomb) were inked and colored by another member while I did the idea, layouts, and pencils. The Spring 2011 designs I posted were done completely by me (The son of KNG, Bat Luchador, and Final Fairytales). So I kind of posted them in reverse order of when they were created and I just think its cool to see the diffrent style of the two seasons.

Naidy: Heya Naidy, thanks a bunch for visiting and even commenting! lol its kind of funny, when I first started the sketchbook most of my crits were on learning better anatomy, so to hear you say that all my studying is paying off is such a big motivation boost for me ^^
jellyswirl: Thanks a lot for the congrats! It always worries me when it come to designing since generally speaking, simpler designs sell better then more complex. Simpler meaning text/logo designs which I just have very little love doing lol (Much less willing to even try selling it). So, to see somebody like my warriors design, or any designs I work on is such a reliving/great feeling.
These are some of the doodles I had time to do for warming up for stuff, except for the 3rd image which are some studies from photos. ^^; nothing great or dynamic, just something to get things going.
