@Liberty: yeah crazzyyy livestream session!
So yeah, exams over... I have some more free time now. Which means I can back to studying... russian... and more drawing and such.
First, some self-portraits from my self-portraits thread:
then some loomis:
and finally... the still life I livestreamed today!
(process is recorded here: http://www.livestream.com/fantasypow...9-436f6ed89e33 )
all of them
Creusa yeah that is the pen indeed
hu-ha its an empty box of pringles :V
Here are some random sketches:
I am going live now!
Please join me in some lovely self-portrait painting
@Libertyy: Yeah, I should do more face studies! Thanks for the crit^^
Here is the result of the self-portrait stream :V
And here are some Loomis studies:
Now I will go live for some madd grinding!
Please join me
Yesterday's stream result
It's a still life! (again :V)
but I like doing still lives so that's all good I guess.
^ I think this acrylic painting is finished.
/with random Russian phrase. I know it means good-bye but I have no idea how to pronounce it. :V I then find "пока" easier...
And here is a work in progress. I am making some Digimon fan art
This is MetalGarurumon. And I really want to make him look like he is made of metal... Which is hard... So crits would be appreciated!
@Fallen: More saturated? Thanks, I actually thought I should use less saturated colours for this one, but maybe this will make it better
Homework.status = bad. I had to write a paper and I thought 500 words were enough... then appeared that it at least should be 600 words. *sigh* Oh well, let's fantasize some extra words! :V
Anyway... Result of today's stream
I drew my little Bumblebee Camaro.
YEAH ANOTHER STIILL LIFE. AGAIN AND AGAIN.
And some Loomis:
Now let's worrrrk
You've got some very strong still lifes on this page!
The figure and portrait studies are also looking good,
but I would advise to pay more attention to light/dark and less to the actual subject
(i.e. a leg or an ear)
The subject should appear by itself by drawing/painting light and shade.
Keep up the good work!
@Luckers: Thank you I will try that..
/daily update time
Here is some Loomis again! (I want to start on Bridgman, but working through Loomis first!)
And still worrrking on this @___@
I must like MetalGarurumon really much
And also working on this vector :V
(I forgot about it for a while, but I figured I really should get back to it)
Oh ze awesomeness! As I told you, the recent still life study is probably your best. That pencil holder is something to behold
The Loomis studies are coming around rather nicely, but I think the hand studies lack some form- most of them don't look very convincing. I'd suggest more!

metal dildo looks super cool and shiny!
110 hand studies haha gosh thats' so great idea, to give them numbers
You are really working like a machine, I just have no words.
So many life drawings and studies. Incredible.
I think that you tend to elongate the faces sometimes,
especially on some of your self portraits.
I have a question about the vector art and that is,
do you do your lines on paper first and scan it, or
you do them digitally right away? And what software
do you use for the vector lines?
Your color studies are impressive, seems to be your strongpoint at this time
agreed with A fox , although i don't have any experience in colors myself , but still i can say your paintings are really pleasing to eyes , love'em
Hey Sushy, thanks for dropping by my thread again. Your updates are pleasing. Your still life's are getting better. Keep up with these and really try to push them. I will start looking into colour myself after your advice. Thanks All the best.
Impressive amount and vary of work, i like the fact you have so many drawings from observation! its a great skill to have and it seems to be paying off already
do you always use pen? have you tried doing more pencil, perhaps charcoal (very fast and lightweight)? theres also cont'e which is less messy.
U probably have explored these, but its always good for a reminder
love ur work. keep it up
Kerah thank youoou
Creasa it's not a... dildo. :V Glad you like it tthough, yeah I number my hands studies :V
LtPlissken Thank you, will try to not elongate the faces XD I use Adobe Illustrator CS3 for vectoring and I start out with a traditional sketch first.
A faux Thank you
Vins_2011 and thank you xD
Damien Levs Sure will push them, thanks
here is some Loomis
Unfinished photostudy (guess who!)
And this is for COW... but its a bit unoriginal...
trying to fix that :V
so yeah that is what I have been doing lately.
More art than homework haha
And now it's time to go live!
who is that hooligan? :p http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...2&d=1319372510
You have some nice still lifes here!
I think you should work a bitmore on the values, some of them look a bit flat, other than that, it looks great!
Also work a bit more on facial anatomy, specially the eyes, in your realistic drawings they look very cartoonish.
Awesome Loomis studies btw.
Keep up the good work!
Is that man on your latest study by any chance drunk? I mean,
young man should stand with weight on one leg and other just touching the ground, if the young man goes on 2 legged mode, that could very well mean that he's on opiates of some kind. Just sain`.
project_razor Thank you
IKerah I think you may know him :V
n1frit dimiiiiiiii я - нидерландка
Voodoo_Mama Will work on that :V I never really focus on value, more on colour xD
Liberty I do not know what happened on the picture. XD
It looked like funnn
OK I should be doing my homework right now. But I am updating my sketchbook
I am bad oh gosh
Here are some self-portraits from le self-portraits thread:
And the still life from yesterday's stream. I am not so happy with it
I cannot draw cars. :V
Oh and I do not know what perspective is.
You did draw something that resembles a car, could be it? Maybe a little out of proportions. I'd say if it bothers you and you want to get more proficient at it (and then move to mechas? Was that your plan?), then you should conduct a few more studies to grind to powder this ability.I cannot draw cars. :V
p.s- yes, you are нидерландка
