I spent more time with softer brushes, and trying to get a nice even skin tone with some subtle grain. Hair still looks sloppy, but I got bored
Natalie Portman. 3 hrs.
Fniss - thanks!
Jamesy - hi from Seattle and our awesome summer! Not a professional artist, just for fun. I'm otherwise gainfully employed
Been working on my game too much lately and so all my art has been sprites and backgrounds and menus and junk ( www.twinstickgames.com )
BUT! I did manage to do a little sketch practice today. Penny Arcade fanart, just for the hell of it.
Love the gator.

That Natalie Portman is pretty good man, nice renderings on that croc as well.
Castle crashers, good times!
I really like your work, I'm wondering how your work might look with stronger colours though. The soft wash you have is great, it'd just be interesting to see on the croc for example, pushing the greens, blue (stripes on pants) and red (rims on coat) to stronger saturations, just out of curiosity.
dude - cap'n crock = desktop/droid background. Sick!
