mmmm I would suggest doing skin tone studies from photographs of people. Don't use fashion photo's or anything. Just natural lighting and hopefully not Photoshoped.
Try doing grey scale studies as well to help make your paintings more solid.
Hope that helps!
My observational skills may be great but i said nothing about my drawing skills

Nice value studies, however do not go so suddenly
from so dark, as the guy's hair is to the other lighter value.
Use more steps to passing from one lightness to another in the
skin if you know what I mean.
Metal texture study is hard, I did not managed to master it yet.
You are surely on the right way, good luck with it.
thanks my friend try to explore more study to reach the improvement of art work faster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kungfoowiz: Thanks for your comment my friend, it just the firsttime to me paint the metal and this was just the basic of metal i'll do my best in this case (metal study).
i've done this by pencil effect using photoshop technique.

now i did few crap drifts of metal paints and i end up with this one
it's part of the major artwork call '' the mask of myth south woman''
extra study before going to sleep
the grey study really interesting try it guys
the 89 young man
The mask of Myth South Woman's metal mask is painted outstandingly.
You improved at rendering metal and I am just proud of you.
Guy in #290 got a too light beard and some face anomalies.
Otherwise it is a good job.
You are forcing this poor guy in @291, so he's eyes will
going to pop out in the end.
There is an improvement in your SB from the start, but it would be more and faster if you did more exercises like still lives. I like the imagination shown.
I like the mood in post #290. Little suggestion; When painting hair, try to vary your stokes and also vary the dark/lit factor to make it more realistic. You'll benefit a lot from using some references mate.
Take a look at this photo. You'll understand what im trying to say.

now as i said before this one for Black Spot , life study really interesting try it guys
That last painting is REALLY good. Do lots of studies like that or from photos and your other stuff will improve much faster.
You are improving quite quickly, especially your digital painting technique.
I love you enthusiasm--keep going!

really nice life study! Its great when you do a piece like that and think "wow yeah I really am improving there is no way I could have done that a couple of months ago" - well done!
I like the one with the bulging eyes too, it just makes me laugh. Keep on working away. I'm going away for a few days now but will comment when I get back and see whats new
Wonderfull light in post #289!
One thing i noticed: you've got a lot of details in your linework, but you lose them when you overpaint your sketches, which is too bad!

Oh man, The last life study is awesome!! You have captured the light and the colors wonderfully i guess although if we had a photo of the object could have given better critiques. Nevertheless, great job here.
Keep up the good work mate. I wish you a Happy New year. may all your dreams come true. Have fun!!
