its the strongest of the pieces you've uploaded,i'd like to see more along that style personally :3
Never Attempt the Possible;attempt the impossible and even if you fail, you'll fall among the stars.
FootstepsBeckon:: why thank you. I tend to work in that style when I paint from a model/life. i should being doing more of that soon, considering this CHOW is "your muse" and Adrienne being just that
nce character....that samurai...the feel of the skecth is gud..

so i went a head and picked up the Classical atelier drawing, painting, and portrait books. I took the advice of Mischeviouslittleelf and am now trying to work on gaining the proper "tools" to drive my work further. here are two studies one in charcoal and one in graphite of a mortar and pestle. (i love them and i dont know why ) also a sketch for the berserker CHOW.
In other news, click on the first magazine cover you see down the page and go to page 80.....I'M IN A MAGAZINE!!!!!
(its the cover with the girl and the purse with a 20 popping out, toy gun, smokes, lighter and a knife.)
very excited about this.
more to come later this week, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODIES!!!
oh yeah any feed back, hint, tips, ect. that can be shared about achieving that level of awesome using the atelier books is much appreciated. I am working real hard to learn how to turn form like the old masters.
here are a few sketches from the last couple of weeks. the first is santa with his naughty list, then a one hr sketch jam with a buddy of mine at work where he chooses a song title and we battle it out. this one was "Girl @ the Rock Show." The last is a study page for the Four Horsemen CHOW that I was unable to compete in. I did have a lot of fun though with this page. you can see I drew on some inspiration from Bumskee
here are some more sketches

these last few pencils really seem like you've undergone a pencil level up. Nice work on that, and doing still life's like those will really help with training your eye in all sorts of ways. So just keep doing what you're doing!

Your pencil work is improving so quickly! And i was gonna suggest doing some more value studies, but it looks as if you're doing that. Otherwise I'd just suggest delving into some serious color, I love what you've done so far with it.
just keep going is my only advice atm!
