Hi I have resently started on PS and was wondering if anyone out there are using PS too. Plus what brushes, and the settings on them, are used for the best flow of shadows/lightings.
Cant help but wonder how to do it, I'm pretty clueless. I don't even know what canvas is...
Anyway here is a pic I managed to do with based forground colours and mostly using "overlay" mode, with less then quarter "opacity"(if spelled right).
I would be greatful if anyone posts there little tricks of the trade to help me.
The term "Canvas" is used in Corel Painter.
In Photoshop, this would be the "Background" or base of the image, and all that you see when you first open a new image using File > New.

I don't have much experience with painter, but NEVER EVER EVER paint with black or white, or mix colors with black or white, or paint on a white/black background. It makes your painting flat, and make the colors look weird.
