wich is rare..
besides my schoolproject i still find time for some art.
Wow I really like the aqua-humanoid in your latest post. The volume on the hair tentacles and the shiny surface texture is excellent. I've noticed that in some of your earlier works it looks like part of the back of the head/cranium is missing or reduced in size on some characters (it could be an intentional stylistic choice on your part) but it looks a little "off" to my eye. The more recent stuff looks great though!
Post more, especially digital stuff if you got the time!
My Sketchbook: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=208452
i know, he looks like a woman but hes wearing lip stick, goddamit!
and yeah, perspective fail but its drawn on a din a4 paper, wich is a very unusual size for my stuff..
You have very expressive characters, and I really admire the work you have on toned paper. For your digital work, I would suggest more value studies, and for your digital characters, I would suggest that you ask yourself where you want the focus of the piece to be and concentrate your darks in those areas.
2h work of v

The portrait is my first picture in SAI. The water brush is so much better for shading than the default soft brush or the smudge finger in PS.
The table and cupboards aren't my designs. I just visualised them.
75x75 icons I made.
The skull is a photo referenced painting in Photoshop.
Some boredom doodles of insect people.
Life reference drawings from the Naturkunde Museum in Berlin.
Some screenshots of a screen space shader in action wich clips colors to the ones inside a lookup texture and applies a (not so good as I wished) real time dither.
