Rosie, top student in Necromancy
Rosie von Kreuzberg is top student in Necromancy at the University of Dark Arts. This school has been around for hundreds of years and only the most talented students are accepted! With her talents and skills, Rosie could easily become the most powerful Necromancer in history...
Design Rosie in her student outfit!
- Setting can be anything; from modern age to high-fantasy worlds.
- Maybe she’s arrogant because of her powers, maybe she is very shy and modest, it’s up to you to give Rosie a fitting personality. Show this in your design!
- Age should be fitting for a university student, around her twenties.

- the standard uniform for the school she goes at are black pants and a blouse of choice, but it has to be in a dark colour (kind of like my shcool, only we have uniform skirts that are a pain to colour match, or grey pants).

The general idea behind this design is "practical necromancy" - what would Rosie wear/wield while taking part in her practical sessions?
Spiked shin-guards and chains to fend off any undead hands trying to grab her from beneath the ground.
Spellbook for summoning the dead.
Shovel for digging up cadavers and defending herself if things get nasty.
Mask to block out the stench of the dead (decided to lose this in the final).
Good luck all - great round.

Set to graduate at the top of her class, Rosie is by far the most promising and gifted necromancer to fly through the University of the Dark Arts. What no one realizes is that shes also only a co-pilot!
Through one miscalculated spell, the Demon Lord himself has taken over control of Rosie and is using her to open the next portal into our realm. If the plan works, the University of Dark Arts will certainly have their hands full for some time to come.

Here is mine.
I learnt so much with this one!
Rosie walks a path between light and shadow, her great power providing her with the means to achieve all her dreams. Which truth shall she embrace? Which timeless authority shall have her? She'll have to pass her SATs first!
Ah, Rosie, Rosie...The kind of girl you would die for, only to have her revive you again. If she pleases, that is. Ruthless, you say? Well, considering this guy was her great-great uncle...makes a lot of things more understandable. Still, with that face...does it matter?
Wips and rantings right this way
Though prophesied as being the most powerful Necromancer in History, Rosie has no control over her powers. As a result, any corpse in her vicinity will immediately spring to life and await for further commands.
This act often has Rosie paralyzed with fright.
The Grand Council at the University of Dark Arts has banned Rosie from stepping foot in any cemetery without the supervision of one of her Teachers.
I liked this challenge a lot. I came up with two different Rosies, second one just for show.

Axel's Gallery Art you?
This one was a lot of fun and I learned a lot (such as: ... )
1) I work slowly. I've probably put 25 hours into this. Ugh. Need to focus and speed up!
2) I can't draw glasses to save my life
3) My background is more interesting than my foreground (for once!)
Here are my Works in Progress compilation:
And of course the full version of the final. I completed this at 300 dpi and 3000x4600 size. I really should have put a tentacle in there somewhere to make it a true homage to Serge but it is 3am (once again) and that means I need to call it done. Here's my Rosie, and her backup band.
