I post this because it is "finally finished". It is the bodypainting with the most preprep time so far. Thanks to conceptart I ventured out of my comfortzone of blacklight and applied what I learned here to my personal favourite art.
Girl Genius introduced me to Steampunk and beeing a german guy in Germany I have a lot of fun with how the Jaegers are portrayed and how they speak. Since the clanks and the van Rjin Muses were of particular intrest to me I decided to do a "Mad Girl and Clank" bodypainting.
We were initially told that we were gonna be able to shoot in a 100 year old
machinehall. Only twenty minutes before the shot we saw pics of a clearly
modernized hall. It still got us some good pics. I will prolly takle the project
again. Either with post production or a new shot like this.
So hereīs is for your viewing pleasure, from concept to finish, my take on a
Clank a la Tinka or Anevka Sturmvoraus.

I love it! I've always been so fascinated with bodypainting; it's such a unique art style. This is very well done, as well. What kind of paint did you use? How long did it take to completion?
thats awezome! bodypaint always is.
