My name is Daniel Cicero in I am 16 years old, live in Australia and love drawing. I basically have the dream and goal of working as a concept artist at Blizzard entertainment and to achieve this once I complete my art degree in about 6 years. From here on this will hopefully serve as a progression of my artwork until the day I become a concept artist for Blizzard.
Construstive critisism and suggestions would be greatly appriciated.
Thankyou for visiting my post and I hop you enjoy it

A quick scetch
looking great! im 16 myself and have almost the same goal except for Gearbox!
Welcome to CA, glad to see another teen. I laughed when I read your first post because I have the same goal as you. To work as a concept artist for Blizzard. Well, I know you haven't posted much, but from what I can see you'll need some work. Keep doing those anatomy studies and don't forget to draw from life. I hope to see your progression
awesome mate and good luck
My second attemp at hands, still very quick sketches
sorry once again about the sizes, does anyone know how i can edit them?

thankyou so much aLDoDarK
Nice to see you getting a early start.
About the blizzard thing you might want to modify your goal to something less specific, maybe to just be the best character designer you can be or something and if you so happen to get a job at blizzard great, if not, you could just wind up as a artist for some other cool studio. The goal should be more on the craft than a Specific place of employment, but its good to have goals though and the only reason I mention it is because its something that comes up a lot.
I have a couple links in my sig to some good tutorials .
Some specific links
Another link to loomis(already mentioned) if you dont already have it.
Some creature design/anatomy stuff
Some good stuff on perspective
Bobby chiu great for getting motivated
Above all else just draw everyday keep consistent and you'll always improve.
Dont waste time and practice everything you can from life, photo, and imagination as much as you can.
Keep at it.

I still have the body to do and refine the armour and various other parts
A few sketches this week in order of when I did them, with the first post beeing the start of the week, I have two more but photobucket wont upload them so ill add them later
some more drawings
some of this weeks work
some good improvements this week.
The next few pieces come mainly from the awesome works of Dan Luvisi. I promise I will be better that him by the end of this year.
bump bump bump, the thread didnt bump
I think your focusing way to much on detail, you can't hide a bad foundation with lots of detail, you lack of knowledge anatomy and pose shows through like a bright light in the dark. Get some Andrew Loomis and George Bridgman books those should help you
well I thought I had improved a great deal in a matter of a month.
Yes I know my anatomy could be better, but it is improving but I dont believe there is anything wrong with adding details, it can only help right?
This is a work in progress, please leave a comment to let me know how I am going, I would really appreciate it. Thanks guys
You learn very quickly, I can see noticeable improvements with each post. Keep drawing, keep looking at new things and experimenting, and you'll keep getting better.
