I have a bad habit of mutilating my large paper drawings because I have no good storage for that size....
How do you guys handle it?
I know it's kind of a retard question, but any ideas will help!
Well I'm not sure what you qualify as large, but I've used portfolios to store items that are like 20 inches +
Images that are closer to three feet or over, I do what Black Spot suggests and roll them up. You can store rolled up paper in tubes like this
DPaint I'm jealous of your paper shelf :o
Make cardboard/foam core folders for support and put it all under the bed.
If I had the money I'd love to get the flat file cabinet things but I'm a poor art student :p
I personally don't like to roll drawings up because they never quite get back to their original flatness... just me though.
I've always used flat-files - if you hunt around hard enough you can find them used sometimes. Though for really big drawings I roll them - one of my mentors does 4'x8' drawings which he stores in racks like paintings.
